I was just thinking about this and hoping this faction doesn't take over on Monday and certainly not end up representing the fans on the board. I'll be the first to say it. Vote Michigan Red, tough on Leigh, tough on the causes of Leigh š Are you going on Monday MR? Would love to but I'm out of the country and as I'm on a Ryanair flight so I might have live in the terminal.

MK saved the Club, we have all been excited with the signings, the million pound game, the success this year etc. Yes Russ and others he's made mistakes, like we all do endlessly, but he's put his money and more importantly his time and energy and he took a major chance.
His main error was that he did it alone and didn't build a proper partnership with the fans. We felt left out of it, kept in the dark, whatever. But in a way he wanted to give us success. Sadly, at times, it caused a bit of a battle, because everyone, especially him is passionate about the Club. And he was conned many times along the way. As he said if Sheens would have come in on day 1, we' d be up there. But there's a lot of cut throat rogues in RL.
I was gutted with the chaos once again, because after this really good season I expected good signings and stability but we don't know the full picture. He's said that he's putting the Club in capable hands, there is good future investment, that Watson can spend to the salary cap. So let's see what unfurls
I for one would like to thank him for giving me a roller coaster ride and for all the time, effort and enthusiasm he put in. I don't remotely know of anybody else who would have done it. And I think the fans should show their appreciation; a banner at least.
So thanks, MATE and stick around.

Too many lies and false promises from Dr Koukash for me to ever have respect for him. His direspect for the fans even to the last where he mentioned the Huddersfield crowd as one of the reasons for him leaving are appalling. His final challenge to us was a name change. He lost that and has now spat his dummy out. He may have saved us but what is he going to leave us with now?

PR there are always, at least, two ways of looking at things and rarely things are black and white, most is grey. Consider the following possibilities
Possible confusion over aspirations and hopes with false promises. 1400 is probably the lowest attendance ever at a SL match, could he have felt let down and frustrated? He had invested lots of time, energy, effort and money and did some market research to find the best way forward for the Club. M research will test everything, people focussed, probably rightly on name change....which never happened He could be upset at what he considers being a failure and feels he can't see the way forward
We will see what he has set up. He I would think is still guaranteeing the debt of the club.
It is not about disagreeing with you but just trying to see things in a different light. Beaumont said he totally misjudged him. He is from a persecuted land, Palestine, has made his way to the top by graft, has a PhD, but he is too enthusiastic and passionate for his own good.
When I was at the semi he made me really proud to be supporting Salford Red Devils. And with better reffing, sending off Powell, we could have won.He said he is now one of us, a Salford Reds supporter and paying for his season ticket. So might be worth trying to treat him like one.
Worth a hint anyway.

It has to be agreed by the RL yet, that's why we're hearing nothing from him or the Club. Lawyers are involved, it has to be legal. And it has to be about him as he owns the Club and the media want to know about him. He's the one who's given the Club profile, worldwide; some good some bad.
Like you i'm upset, annoyed and frustrated about it. But at least we've moved forward in the past few years and had some good times (and some bad). We'll just have to be patient.

If as has been stated Watson can spend up to the cap does that mean the Doc has guaranted next seasons income or have the new board done so?

Thanks,MK,weāve had the ride, enjoyed most of it. Without him,I agree it wouldnāt have been possible. Reference on the bbc clip about the crowd was half the story, similar to many of his utterances. It was Thursday and on TV. Isnāt the TV fee about Ā£100,000? He deliberately confuses debt with running costs. Finances are always opaque. As someone said,itās always about him yet,one to one,he can be less than gracious. Beaumont yesterday was classy. So,yes, thanks Doc for the ride but respect ,no chance. It will be interesting to see what is revealed when the finances unravel,as they surely will.

Marwan has always come across as a classic spin doctor with interviews that never ask the right questions. He looked around at the Huddersfield game and decided a verdict had been delivered on his stewardship. What he should have been asking was how he turned the optimism of the 7,000 who attended his first game against Wakefield in to the year on year despondency which have driven crowds down to such low levels. In all his time he piled mistake upon mistake and became frustrated as things got worse. In many ways he was to chairmanship what James Child is to refereeing. That is a man not a afraid to back up a monumental error with a then ridiculous penalty.
Apparently Marwan was able to make the announcement about his departure without all the future plans being firmly in place. The future structure to be agreed by the RFL, no names of businessmen able to be announced, the legal work not finalised etc etc etc. I sincerely hope that the legal team is not the one which worked on the watertight contract for Gareth Hock's transfer to Leigh, the one which supposedly had the clause preventing him from playing against us that season.

MR, v good point. As I've said elsewhere the club/MK/Blease/Trust need to speak up as to what is going on. It is being v poorly managed in respect of the fans perspective imo. The people want the facts, are we in a good position? or are we in a bad position? I can handle the truth, but don't want statements that just create far more questions and then we can't get any answers from anywhere because there is no 'spokes person' to address all the stuff the fans want to know. Instead we are left with a huge hole with no one to fill it and deal with these questions we're desperate to know answers to. Just how I feel

Koukash said he made his mind up to go after the Huddersfield games on September 9th. He made the announcement of his leaving around September 28th. A gap of only 3 weeks to create a plan, approach ālocal business peopleā and agree with the RL in principle such fundermental organisational changes is just not possible. IMO there are no plans, there are no business people in the wings waiting to become Trustess and Blease and Watson know as much about this new set up as you or me.
I think we all knew deep down that the reign of Koukash would end in tears as he has behaved poorly since day one, way below the standard set by the owners of other SL clubs. Itās always really been about him with the club just a vehicle for him to rub his huge ego.
I wish him well in his new career in reality tv, where Iām sure he will shine.
The King is dead........long live the .......ermmmm.

Yeah Reality TV. He'll probably say it's Sky 1 but will dribble out like a fart around midnight on Spike+1.
