As per the rumours it looks set to be announced in the coming days, with a ''board of trustees'' set to takeover the running of the club which would mean a lot of cost cutting.
Looks like this year was one to be cherished in terms of challenging at the top (for a bit)

It's on The Sun's website. Sorry I don't have the link to hand.

Just been reading about it on Twitter, did get the impression there was something else heading our way.
You'd hope that this is all sorted ASAP and not have it drag on or drag the club down.
Hope to God that there is a new owner, I'd happily take Orange with immediate effect.

Can't blame him really, although people have questioned actually how much money he's put into the club (towards paying the debt), he's certainly put his money where his mouth is when it's come to recruitment. With the crowds being what they are he must be losing money hand over fist, even with the comments about breaking even next year.
There's a part of me that will be sad to see him go.

I wouldn’t be sorry to see him go,if he was replaced by another autocratic owner. Management by a Board of Trustees will be a disaster, unless one Is given authority to call the shots

He did say, in the racing papers about 6 months ago, that he was concentrating on his racing next year and was getting his stable back to 100 horses. That's what the market research was all about, finding the best way out. But at least he's not taken the club away.
It's been an 'interesting' journey and we must thank him for making the effort.

Yeah part of me is sad really, he saved our club when we were close to death he and we have seen some of the best players in years in a red shirt thanks to his money I.E Lui/BMM players that got us to the top 4 before the split and a Cup Semi (a day I'll never forget)
Those days will probably go with him, more the Salford of old which is a shame as I think we were building towards the same places Warrington have been slowly but surely. Well in the right direction on the field it will be unsustainable without the money

Bloody hell, there's rumours he might not be done with RL completely I have seen the same journo say time will tell on the prospect of him taking over another UK club.
Now that would be a bitter pill to swallow!

Bradford?
He has his mates in there now and has some strange affinity with the club. He even employs their losers RHP and Noble!

A very sad day just when i thought we could use the full cap and move on to bigger things, great timing doc. If he went to another club that would be very poor by him.

It's all up in the air, possibility of him still having a stake in the club but this board of businessmen running the club is the latest.
I honestly think it is beginning to sound like them two who own Sale?
