Just been reading about it on Twitter, did get the impression there was something else heading our way. You'd hope that this is all sorted ASAP and not have it drag on or drag the club down. Hope to God that there is a new owner, I'd happily take Orange with immediate effect. If their is a new ownership would the League just let us carry on.

Carnster it can happen, the money needed each year is not massive, even if it starts with fans owning a smaller percentage. You have to want it first.
If we could start it we could, at last, start some stability. Let's face it we keep hoping for a benefactor to come along and save us, which in reality never ever happens. Then whoever arrives takes control and take the Club in yet another direction. Debts run up etc (look at Bradford). This way it's open to account from day one.
So we can start to save ourselves, there's enough of us and there's major talent around. But you have to want it.

I really admire the aspiration that you have, genuinely, and you clearly would love it to happen. Sadly,it can’t and won’t. The outstanding debt from the Koukash era,and the repayment commitments from the Wilkinson years would kill it stone dead, sorry.

Does anybody have any idea what in truth the debts are in reality?
The thing that really bothers me is that, if what you say is true, then we'll just eventually be a Bradford as time passes by.
What's the alternative.......is there a Father Christmas? Will we get a saviour? To stop this potential nosedive there has to be a different direction.
And Russ, what are you on, I think I need some!

You'd hope that the official announcement will be complete and not leave unanswered questions that create more fan stress and speculation.
Details of the new board are needed, who's the parent company (if it has changed) and the hierarchy of the board.
Simply revealing the new badge and season ticket prices isn't enough when so much remains unanswered.

When we reached the top 8 we thought the Club could plan for next year and everything would settle down. Huddersfield have just announced in a big way the Walne signature. Another home grown player gone just reaching his peak.
We seem to be just floating around in the usual sea of uncertainty. We need openness and three or four years of stability, all this cloak and dagger stuff is just a waste of energy and of the opportunity of our achievements last season.
Assume we'll have another 'blown out of all proportion promise' in the next couple of days.
Season ticket.....needs a long think.

I cant find it now but the report I read said MK was stepping down to be replaced by a Board but the 'owner/ Parent Company' wouldn't change. If i find it I'll post the link. In my humble opinion there’s not a chance in a million that Koukash will leave his money in,unless he retains total control. My guess is that the ‘parent company’ has funded the club,so has run up significant outstanding debts and MK is looking to offload it, debts and all. If he can persuade a consortium of local businesses the share the debt he could walk away . The truth is that we have little idea how the money side has worked so I’m purely speculating, except that I’m certain he won’t leave his club to be run by others, not in his DNA Spot on Bonitared Here lies the problem, whoever takes on the club takes on a even bigger debit than the original one he said he would wipe away when he took over the club. The debit around the club has been deferred year on year making the club less attractive for any new investors. I have watched Salford since the seventies & never felt so detached from the club, this day was always going to come with MK, I just hope we have a stable plan in place for the future.

We’ll all you people that were whining about MK have finally got your wish so I hope you’re happy. Personally I think this is terrible for the club and we’re much weaker without him. Back into obscurity we’ll go, which is what the “hardcore” seem to want 👏

This morning's statement has left me feeling a bit worried.
While MK has been a divisive owner, he should be applauded for saving the club when we were on our knees; using his own wealth to try and build a successful team.
