You can download the club’s accounts, and the previous company’s filings, on the Companies House website. They are freely available.

In his statement in the MEN he is still owning the Club but leaving it the hands of others to run. Maybe those 'businessmen coming in' might be investing in the Club.
As has been said, it all depends on the financial situation and legal framework. But it might bring stability.
MK seems to state that the financial security of the Club is within its grasp. He has also stated recently that we would be happy with those coming in and that Watson has the full salary cap to utilise.
As usual, we'll see. At least we're not in the £1M game on Saturday!

Also quoted in the MEN is his formal statement
“He said he would be handing over ownership of the club to a trust ‘for the benefit of fans and the local community of Salford’. The trust due to be appointed would local businessmen and a fans’ representative, the club statement added.”
If it’s in a Trust,he can’t own it.
No,he’s gone but it looks like he hadn’t taken the debts with him. They’re also in Trust !!

This could be debated forever until we know the facts, if ever, but presumably you pass assets into a trust and not liabilities.

but presumably you pass assets into a trust and not liabilities. I don’t know the answer to that but I assumed that he would be passing the 2013 Club, which has previously been owned by one of the Euromatech companies, into the Trust. The alternative would be that he walked and took the debts with him. Doesn’t sound like the actions of the doctor we know and love

I wouldn’t expect anybody to take on liabilities of which a significant chunk of which was from the previous club. If he were to wipe £8m clean, however, fair play to the man.

Fair play if that’s what he does

Up to 2016 it seems the clubs debts have trebled since MK took the reins in 2013. I'm sure all will become clearer soon enough but I can't see any local businessmen wanting to take over a company with 8.2m+ debts and an annual turnover of 2.3 - 2.5m.

Firstly, thank you, genuinely thank you, without you we would have no club left to be debating. As I feared the announcement would leave us with more questions than answers, importantly for me is who will get the season ticket holders vote, there are obvious factions amongst the fans and some of them I would be very uncomfortable representing me as a ST holder. My vote KOTS (Paul Parkin for those who know him or Shirley Bradshaw). Will the fans choice need to be a fellow ST holder? If not trying to find a more highbrow and influentional choice would be good. I'm curious to know which local businessmen will sit on the board, Done, Morson, Ramsbottom, McArthur and importantly if the Sale owner will become involved. There is no mention but is the club actually for sale? Has he cut ties or is he going to also sit on the board? I agree with Parky or Shirley tbh. Without knowing either of them personally they're passionate and (in my experience) level headed fans who would represent the find well. Putting certain of our self-proclaimed "super fans" in a position of power would be like putting a megalomaniac businessman in charge of a world super-power (as if someone would be daft enough to do that eh?). I still don't understand why the club/Marwan never got together with Salford City when the Class of 92 took over. I have season tickets for both clubs and the footy team have just spent millions renovating a ground that will only be fit for purpose for a few seasons if their ambitious plans for league football are achieved. The AJ Bell would have had all the facilities (& more) for an aspiring league club and some sort of Salford "super club" should have been formed a bit like Barcelona & Real have with football/basketball teams (but obviously on a "slightly" smaller scale!

So in effect we are going to be run by a Committee. 7 hour meetings with nothing resolved.
The best committee had 3 members with 2 dead and one dying. God help us.

Because? Would help if you gave a reason why Dixon!!!
11,000+ ground > 5,000 ground Parking facilities > no parking facilities whatsoever! Shared training facilities + gym on site Shared corporate facilities Shared admin staff Potentially shared physio Joint marketing staff (wishful thinking I know!)
Just a few reasons why I think it would work...
And yes, I'm fully aware that neither club can fill an 11k stadium but seems stupid to have 2 full time pro teams using separate grounds and facilities.

There are loads of red herrings about,I just heard on GMR more moaning about stadium access, the Willows etc. Look,we are where we are. The RFL statement is as positive as it goes, making clear that Koukash has been talking the principle through with them. It’s not about the stadium, not about the fans rep on the board, not about sharing facilities. In the end,it’s always about the MONEY. There are only 3 elements to this; Who will pay the ongoing losses of ,on average,£500K per season Who will be responsible for debts in the Koukash era. Oddly I don’t think it will be MK Who will be responsible for the big historic debt that MK inherited, like the money owed to Mr Wilkinson. If those points are sorted, the RFL will nod it through It’s always about the money !

I am also a season ticket holder of quite a few years before The take over by the 92.It was mentioned about playing at the AJ Bell at a meeting I attended over two years ago,but it wasn't mentioned for long. Its not going to happen.
