Normally I am bullish about the start of the season however I am quite nervous after watching the Saints friendly. We have King who is ruled out, the club did not appeal in the end and Sidlow is not fit yet. I also think Cross and Hankinson will need more game time to be more effective on the wing. I think we will go with the following team on Friday night.

To be honest, it's as good a time as any to play Leeds away. Both teams will be far from their best and both teams will not be fielding their strongest seventeen. You never know, we've spoiled bigger parties in the past...

I think we're bound to be a bit wary at the moment.
It's obvious that, with such a different spine, that we'll look/play differently and with the loss of prized assets we'll be worried how things will turn out.
We'll just have to see .....

Leeds are coming into this with an entirely new 1,6,7 and 9 spine. Couple of forwards missing too so never know. If we can be resilient in the forwards then perhaps our trio of Brierley,Sneyd and Cust could take charge. Clutching perhaps but today has given me some much overdue confidence.

From all the coverage and quotes I'd say they are focusing on Brody so cut down his options and you're half way there. |

No idea what's gonna happen game wise so I'm not even gonna attempt to make a prediction.
Leeds first 13 look pretty decent on paper although can't say I know much about Miller & Crawley.
