I'm rarely on it myself RUTB because it just tends to be full of guff I CBA reading.😂 I've just seen the Nicky Butt interview from over the weekend though and I'm not impressed.🙄 Does this guy actually live in Salford and pay Council Tax like the rest of us. If he doesn't then what is he on about? Butt needs to increase FC's crowds rather than worry about the stadium he he has been told the club cannot buy.

So no-one has a copy of Bleasey's alleged tweets then? Not saying he didn't tweet anything but would be good to see the evidence. With regards the article published in a yawnion rag, the "journo" appears to be this fella below who has also just been called out for an article he published claiming that Ealing RFC & The Ospreys (Welsh team) are merging. Clickbait/sh*t-stirring by any chance? twitter.com/neilfissler?t=OPeR04so0_8U2lHTPRXoHg&s=09I think your spot on SS, Sale were always going to get more opportunity to drive their match day experience. The Council are buying the ground unless something has materially changed. I going to ask JJR to ring his mate Paul King for an update - this media speculation helps no one.

Let’s hope the RU guy on Twitter is another time waster.

No copy of tweet because he replied to the fans page then about an hour later he had took it down! There is a tweet in the thread that has been deleted. Looks like that was the one by Ian B. Someone replied to that. If you reply to that thread it includes Mr B although he isn’t tagged in anywhere Not like Bleasey to post anything controversial! He’s no Marwan or Beaumont on twitter!!

I don’t understand where the notion that the board want to move to Moor Lane. Think it’s pretty much a given that in an ideal world we would own the Salford Stadium.
During the time when the bid from sale was first mentioned the club gave 3 options…. Remain at the AJ Bell knowing that if it was purchased rent would likely increase beyond what we could have afforded. Then we would have no home or need to reduce the wage budget
Move to Moor Lane with favourable rent
Move out of the city to another stadium somewhere.
Given those 3 options where would everyone else see us? The Gerrard bid came in very late, seems to have no interest in the club was purely down to the stadium and how he could have made money, hence the mention of horse events amongst other things.
Gone remarkably quiet since November

The tweet was definitely there and was as lhred said
"I think they have quietly bowed down to sale everyone needs to start asking questions!"
I was surprised by his reply and read it as him not being happy at all. The wording he used "quietly bowed down to Sale" suggested things going on he may be aware of that we aren't.

So in the last 48 hours none of us know any more.
My "guess" is council buy it, both sale Salford get lower rent. Council sell 49% to sale after 5 years and they get naming writes etc.
Nothing to disastrous. Let's not forget we've got feck all money and no backers. They've got about 6 multi millionaire backs behind them and can fill it. With lower rent we need to get our $hit in order because the council bailing us out any more has to stop as its a effing joke. If in 5 years the club isn't self sufficient and still need the council, then fold club and sell rest of stadium to sale to recover tax payers money. Simple as. Would break my heart, but you can't live off tax payers money, absolutely disgra eful that we have for so long

If that’s Blease’s statement it would appear that he doesn’t know what’s going on, just like the rest of us, for months and months
We have public meetings reassuring fans, then we have a Hobsons Choice Poll ( not sure if many voted) but presumably done to make it the seem the Supporters wish…absolutely not, then we see the Director with Gary Neville, then Gerrard comes along , presumably rejected, then the Council identifies its now buying…but still as Community Club paying dues with no influence….we are not given any information…amazing…I love democracy
So there is a fourth alternative after all, presumably pressure by the magnificent petition and pleas from the Supporters Trust with evidence from the Foundation has caused the new negotiation whatever it might be….the only thing we can be thankful for is that the Board didn’t manage to take us to Moor Lane
Community Club…no a Private Members Club

The board provided the facts that we couldn’t pay more rent than we do already without reducing the spend on the playing budget. Gave the factual options, stay where we are and slowly drift into decline. Move to Moor Lane, this was all before IMG came in and essentially kiboshed that. Move out of the city to another stadium. The board have never once said all we want is to move to Moor Lane that is just your own little fantasy! If you don’t like what the current board are doing stick your hand in your own pocket, put your house up as collateral and take over the club yourself

RR it wasn’t me with Gary at ML mate. Strange turn of events now then…totally unexpected …Option 4 No it was our chairman trying to make the best of a bad situation! You know the chairman who put his house up as collaterall and the one who has essentially made us debt free!

Although I always thought moving to Moor Lane would be a dusaster. I definitely remember Paul Rowley saying he would move there in a heartbeat to be masters of our own destiny. Think he was frustrated at the time of the inability to access facilities at the AJ Bell when he wanted to.
So I assume there were others wanted the same.

You can’t say things like that, you know actual facts as they don’t fit the hatred of the board and what they have done for the club that some of our so called fans have
