What I can never understand is why th3 Club wanted to go to ML, then never joined forces with Seb Gerrard to push for the AJ. The Club has just survived financially since Marwan, no money raised.
We don’t seem to have any fight or ambition and we’ve been in the dark for nearly a year.

Was waiting for this!the club didn’t want to go moor lane but it was going to be the only option!we haven’t got 20million to buy the ground,as for gerrard the club never went with him because every time the council asked him to show them certain details he never replied!what would you do jjr?the club had a meeting with burnham and Salford mayor and about 20 businesses a fortnight ago regarding getting funds in to club must show they have no ambition though!

It was on a sale fan page they had the article up about ground he replied to there tweets but he’s removed it now!

One of the roles of the Board is to raise the funds for the Club to move forward. It’s a Community Club receiving no information so I have no idea LHR |

Not been on here for ages but the same people spouting rubbish again.
Salford have paid a pittance in rent for years.
The council is a business and need to get money in, Sale can offer that so end of story.
Everyone thinking that we would get a stadium for free are living in cloud cuckoo land.
I am really disappointed that our board had no idea about this.

Crickey this is a subjective issue JJR.................
It seems a bit strange this, we just need the club to confirm what is actually happening. Sale have always had pole position on the match days - but the article talks about an option to buy the ground? Is this viable with their debt?
Just need some clarity from the club or Salford Council rather than press speculation.

Sale have a 25 year lease option on the ground, its not a surprise they will press hard for the best deal but realistically no other options on stadiums are available locally.
The club were going to have a press conference to clarify the position on the ground and any new terms, wonder what is happening with this.
Still at least we still have the ground, Moor Lane is a no show as far as IMG standards are concerned.

We’re all in the dark and totally frustrated MTR; Club left supposedly to the community and we have no info except the Board planning to go to ML, Gerrard bidding, apparently no money…now it’s to Sale according to the press. Not personal but I’d have thought we’d at least have plan and a rallying of the troops
Meanwhile all other clubs seem to have a positive way forward…even Wakefield and Leigh…planning for IMG
Oh well, why bother….and all the effort you put in mate…at least Rowley’s got the team playing well…just hope he stays. Sale Sharks Stadium😩
