Just a really worrying message coming out at the minute regarding cash flow we just dnt have that money in us high profile people have been spoken to the likes of ged Mason and such big money men but no ones interested, the club have the feeling the council just want to see us bleed ourselves dry and then can say it's not our fault! Ged Mason has a huge interest in Sales Sharks with Simon Orange, why would he invest in Salford Red Devils? Those two care and focus on Sale Sharks period. I'd suggest we wait for the either the Club or Council to make a statement on this, yes money is tight in terms of the clubs operation but we've known that since the Dr left. Any fan would welcome investment from a backer such as Seb Gerrard, though who ultimately who owns the stadium is a different matter. I'd evidence what CosCos the joint venture between the Council and Peel are doing www.placenorthwest.co.uk/salford-peel-to-sell-off-more-aj-bell-stadium-land/ selling more land around the stadium which creates value back to the JV. 'By selling off land around the ground, Salford City Council aims to recoup the loan it issued to CosCos in 2010 to develop the AJ Bell Stadium, which is currently used by Sale Sharks and Salford Red Devils'. This is perhaps the immediate focus rather than a stadium deal to pay off loans. Ultimately the council have to take Salfordian public interest to heart in making any decision on the stadium, and this is a far greater issue the just the future tenants of the stadium. As a Salfordian I'd expect the council to back our all our local based sports clubs (Not the Sharks) before selling the asset off. |

It’s the Boards responsibility to raise the funds. If they depend on hand outs it’s tough times. I thought they employed a Commercial Director but some players not sponsored
Since Marwan Ben M-M and Obrien sold amongst others to pay the bills. Marwan bought Hastings and we had crowd funding for Lussick to enable the Club to survive. Perhaps the Club needs a Plan as it keeps happening.

It's a pity Gerrard and Fred Done couldn't meet about a buy out Fred did say he could be interested so if there was somebody to share the outlay it could be promising

Jjr again the board took this on they have no money they have to find ways to raise money there has been no stone unturned looking for someone interested to come in no ones interested people like Paul King are going above and beyond if you have ideas speak to Paul it's not a closed shop!

Well if you have ideas speak to Paul! The club have spoken with all companies in and around salford manchester further afield noones interested so what next?! It's OK coming on here and pointing out what people should be doing speak to them direct there open to any help!
