Looking at the RL coverage it appears now that:
Hull kr have bought their ground and have big plans, Cas and Wakey have just let it be known that at last they’re developing their grounds so I think it’s now essential that we get a ground that has a decent capacity and facilities
Add to that the fact that those planning for SL; Leigh, Widnes, York, Newcastle, and even Featherstone will have far better facilities then it seems we’ll have the smallest SL ground with the worst amenities and no room to develop at Moor Lane
So if we go to Moor Lane I really fear for the future of the Club as an SL team.
I understand where the Club is coming from with Moor Lane in that at the moment we don’t even appear to have money to bring in a couple of much needed forwards on loan and it seems the Club is unable to raise money.
So I feel everyone at the Club (a short statement), the City Council ( v quiet at the moment), the RL community at large and the City at large needs to really get behind Seb Gerrard.
No word from Sale and Salford City FC but I’m really sure they’ll be pushing the Stadium Company to get a deal done on their behalf as soon as.

Where has it been stated that the club is anything other than behind the bid for the stadium?

" ...the RL community at large and the City at large needs to really get behind Seb Gerrard."
You'll be lucky!
All that needs to happen is for Gerrard to offer more than Sale or as much as, for the argument for SRD to be strong!

Think our major problem Russ is that Peel effectively run the Group that manages the company running the ground. How will it be dealt with in a fair and open manner?

It's very unlikely to be open or fair very little has been about this whole Salford Stadium if you remember we didn't even know we'd be sharing. ru is a sport that works like that, always has and probably always will. The number of RL fans who find it easy to defend them and see it as no problem when they're involved amazes me.

Salford Council have as much say as Peel, on the forum sometimes is we think we know something when in reality we know nothing. So I will tell what I heard that Sale don't want to to be seen to have forced us out,it could be rubbish it could be true. So why don't you just let it all play out,you never know you might get a surprise

Other than one Tweet, do we know anything about this offer and to how to 'get behind it'? If there was some substance and detail about what the plans are then I'm sure the fans would be delighted to support them but to my knowledge there has been no attempts to interact with the fans in person.
Ultimately, the Company that owns the Stadium will take the best commercial deal on the table and if that keeps us there then all the better.
Just seems very vague at the moment.

What bothers me is Th3 Chair of the Company is a Peel guy, Whittaker I hear a big Sale fan is in there. These guys are totally commercially savvy, councillors are nice people.
Do we even know of the terms of the oh so secret Sale bid? …Not a clue.
And it was built for Salford Reds and is a Community Stadium….Sale were just interlopers…Neville jumps on a glory bandwagon for an easy ride.

Not letting off steam Russ, it’s about caring. To me this is the golden opportunity and the Stadium was built for us.
Peel v biased to Sale, via Whittaker. Think Seb vv brave and we should support him; he’s doing the graft.. Sit on our hands and I think a few years at ML we’ll be Championship fodder.
Just my view. We have to have ambition

Dixon as a Salford rate payer I probably expected the Council to support the bid vocally.

Dixon as a Salford rate payer I probably expected the Council to support the bid vocally. How do you know what the council are doing,as someone said on the forum the council are not supporting any any bid that is if there is a bid. You go on about you being a rate payer, their is quite a few Swinton supporters think we have had enough help from the council as it is,their is Salford City supporters who are rate payers It's not all about us. If their is a bid and its acceptable and does keep us anSwinton at the AJB it would be fantastic,I am sure everyone on this forum hopes for the same. You harp on about the stadium being built for us,to a certain degree it was but only if we could pay the rent and pay the rent we couldn't,because it wasn't built as a community stadium like Leigh It was only when we got there we were told we needed 8,000 to cover the rent,if you have watched us any length of time you would have known that. So unless we are told any different we a heading to Moor Lane, lets hope we are told something different. Now if you are any the wiser share it with us please,we all want to know. But don't keep having ago at people who are doing their best.their is know need for it. It would be better to lock this thread until we know something official. Because its getting silly.
