Which they are trying to do by asking the likes of Gerrard to help how is it worth him buying the club when he's bought the stadium cos there wnt be no club at this rate hence why the board have asked him to help if he's that serious why wouldn't you help?he wnt help because he's not interested in the rugby he's interested in the land and the land around why is the Board asking others like the supporters continually, now Gerrard, or whoever to bale them out? it’s their job to raise the money. We had a fanfare about a Commercial Manager and we still haven't got some players sponsored, never mind raising other monies. Sadly the present situation is Survival and probably Championship via Moor Lane. It’s not up to Gerrard or anybody else to bale us out, that’s the responsibility of the Community Board entrusted by Marwan and chosen by ?…Andy Rosler… or whoever… From what I’ve heard Gerrard is making a bid for the Ground then, if successful will buy the Club…so I think we, th3 supporters, Board, City etc should get behind him…..that is if we all have the Clubs interest as our aim. Why should Gerrard finance a Club who’s aim in Moor Lane? I think the guy has got it right…back a potentially winning plan and don’t support a lost cause.

I think its more down to the fact that we ultimately had nowhere else to go... we couldnt afford to stay at the AJ Bell and the guys in charge rightly in my opinion didnt want to take the club out of the city to play its games i.e Manchester returningred I understand what you say,and we had know choice. I get that but what I didn't get was the bit about the growth if Wigan come to town and bring 3,000 we can't accommodate them. When was the last time Wigan brought 3000 to the AJ Bell Dixon?🤔 How many did they bring last week? Around 1800 or so? And that's probably 50% more than they've brought for a long time. For the self-proclaimed "biggest club in the world" their away followings have been $hite. It's amazing what a CC trophy can do though eh?

There is no point with jjr you clearly have a problem with the board you say its there job to raise money well they cnt put in there own money so they are asking others to help seriously if you knew how many companies they have spoken to nobodies interested in rugby in salford because it dsnt make them money you keep saying Gerrard will buy the club after the stadium he wnt he's not interested, you keep saying blease has done wonders last few years so what has he done without the backing of this board?! If you can do better jjr go ahead speak to the board oh no instead you will you keep slagging them off on a forum!

You say the clubs aim is Moor Lane that's not there aim there aim is to be a successful club stay at aj bell and make money but we cnt generate money because no business is interested in rugby so what would you do if you were the board right now what would yor plan be to stop us going to Moor Lane jjr and remember all the businesses in salford and mcr are not interested because the board have spoken to them big small you name it

Wasn't it stated after the Grand Final that our finances had never been in better shape? Have we been guilty of an overspend since

Covid will have affected that, but no money is being generated outside the usual sources. Innovation needed.

As for Gerrard if he wants the land around the ground why buy the ground surely he can purchase with out buying the ground Maybe it the case we all think we know what's going on when in reality we don't,because what we are getting now is we might not complete the season if we don't sell players or get an hand out

Gerrard is making a bid for the Stadium or so we’re told; and the Board has the responsibility for generating income and providing the resources to keep us in SL. In the past Obrien Ben M-m and presumably others have been sold to keep the Club afloat as enough money not generated.
Let’s not keep confusing the issues.
Possibly like a lot of fans, Gerrard doesn’t see a future at ML

That will be more than enough for our extra 3000 fans or the extra 3000 Wigan or anyone else wants to bring.👍

They could get a couple of thousand on that stadium easily (I know the stadium well having been a Salford City ST holder for a number of seasons). It's not ideal but it could be done but yes, local residents and the farcical lack of parking would be the 2 major hurdles.

Why do you think the capacity is what it is then if they could get more in,wouldn't they have done that.like you have been told Moor Lane is at its limit.

From what I have read Moor Lane is maxed out.In addition there is zero corporate side and catering isn't great either.Strange the floodlights aren't up.to standard either!

I see we're in the process of making a list for the rfl to criteria us out of SL.
Next few years should be a barrel of laughs!
