Marwan there with Beaumont Strong talk again of him joining Leigh. So they’ll now have a ground and good money and lots of tweets. And a lot of unpaid suppliers and players

Maurice,I thought Olmondroyd was about 6’ 7” and Roberts is big,I grant you ,but pretty bloody useless in my experience. Luckley should certainly be in the 17 if fit

After yesterdays performance I have a feeling the Cats game will be on, they have conceded 2 points to Wire and will almost certainly not want to do the same with Salford given league positions. I would think they will do their best to get a team out for Thursday. Not sure who is available for Salford? No Escare or Burgess yesterday.

Burgess isolating, don’t think Escare a RM favourite. Someone said on here he’s moving.

Yesterday was an awful performance, from the coaching staff, players etc in my honest opinion, with a good following of fans and we turn up with a performance like that and the officials need to have a good luck at their own performances during the coming week. The basic errors such as not finding touch from a penalty kick, from kicking the ball out on the full from a kick off, from allowing the ball to go dead from another kick off after scoring a try, then players turning their backs on Joe Mellor in our 20 metre area and making him look like Jonathon Thurston to score a try under the sticks made us look foolish and Leigh look brilliant and should never happen with a Superleague side, the odd one yes but not so many in such a short period. Unfortunately a very small number of our fans also need to assess their own conduct when attending matches, a couple of men, looked middle aged, made themselves look absolute idiots throughout most of the match, with disgraceful comments over the officials, Kendall in particular and particularly Adam Sidlow who have them the best response to being called a piece of S??? by promptly going upfield and scoring a try under the sticks. On the other side some of our fans including myself gave the Leigh players a clap on their performance, they deserved the win we didn’t. On the penalties that we are constantly giving away, in kickable positions the players alone are responsible for these offences and the players responsible need to take a long hard look at themselves before the next game, we are a better side than the one that turned out yesterday, let’s prove that we are.

Absolutely embarrassed to follow the club when we have idiots shouting stuff like “Kendall why don’t you die?”.

No place at our club for 'fans' mouthing-off like that. There seems to be a fair number of grown men that seem to be so socially and emotionally stunted that they can't seem to contain their inner thoughts. It's a blight on sport, society, and men in general in my opinion.

Last time I went to Leigh there were full grown men throwing beer at Breirley because he dared to celebrate a try against us, some people are just puddled.

I had a pint in with some Leigh fans before the game that was enough for me. But for some of our fans it seems the drink is more inportant than the game.

The Club should be sending out a warning to fans now and an apology to the abused officials.
We can’t tolerate this type of behaviour.

I wont keep arguing with you Maurice but frankly you and many others have no idea what Covid has done to the squad - hence RMs rotation and playing `unusual` line ups. Not only - should you survive - Covid knocks the stuffing out of you and many players have returned far earlier than they should. Look at Pauli Pauli at Wigan or even Lannon yesterday who was blowing after just five minutes. I just hope that this pandemic will be beaten soon. Now RM - You know my view and that is to give him until say 10 matches in 2022 then if unsuccessful he should walk. I presume also that your father is in the `Lam Out` brigade at Wigan. Must run in the family You are entitled to defend in my opinion the indifensable. Now I have calmed down and thought about what I witnessed yesterday, is this It could be the the excuse needed to pack it in and say thanks for the memories. And Marshall being in charge next season could be it for me after supporting the club Since 1954. I have watched some bad performances in that time but yesterday I saw a lack of effort in some players and a lack of pride,it might not have mattered to them but it did matter to me. I will make a final decision about Moor Lane before start of next season yesterday might have been good enough for the powers that be,but it wasn't for me The £ 20 would have been better given to charity.

Sad stuff Dixon13. I'm hearing more and more hardcore fans saying the same. As a poorly supported club this should be very alarming to anyone reading this who has interest in our club.
Being hoofed over to Moor lane, with a severely under performing team, and a coaching set-up more focused on its custard pies and squirty flowers is going to be a step too far for many I think.

Fair point Dixon 13, I agree with you, this sentence for me sums Salford up this season and how may fans feel:
'I have watched some bad performances in that time but yesterday I saw a lack of effort in some players and a lack of pride,it might not have mattered to them but it did matter to me'.
Marshall needs to stop referring to how great Mellor was yesterday and the impact of the Leigh crowd and be honest about our failure otherwise this decline will never be addressed.

I'm sure the club will stick with the current coaches, but it is in danger of losing a good percentage of its core support at the moment. I've not seen so many angry, disgruntled, and fed-up Salford fans for a long time and some of them are those that prop-up the club financially in sponsorship. Something I've never seen happen before. The number of season ticket holders at breaking point is unbelievable. Not true. The fans were certainly not fed up before the game nor after the win against Huddersfield last week. I spoke with Sponsors too and they will be supporting the club no matter who the Coaches are next year & more interestingly no matter where we play & a ground in Manchester was touted by a couple of them. So Moor Lane may not be the ground we go to after all.
