Costello picked up a one match ban for a dangerous contact
Hopefully Sarge will be ok to play after being pinged last week. Maybe Sio will have finished his return to play (but does he get straight back in the team??)

Both SRD & Leigh are playing the following Thursday evening, The match should have been played this Friday night. Leigh are at Saints on the 26th they've probably decided as they've no chance of getting anything there Apart from a kicking, They'll have a chance of getting a win on Sunday. And we're at home against Catalan same night, Hopefully the Dragons will be suffering from severe jetlag.

Anyone able to recommend a decent boozer in Leigh where the Utd game will be on? May as well get the V1/V2 up there early and make an afternoon of it.🍺⚽🏉

Why does RL keep shooting itself in the foot? What an amateur decision by Leigh to change the kick off time just days before. You buy a ticket make your plans and if it doesn’t get postponed due to COVID the chances are they’ll change the kick off time or day.
No wonder RL in England is on it’s backside with the paying fans (the dwindling lifeblood) being mucked about from pillar to post. I can only assume it’s because it clashes with the football, the sport RL chiefs feel completely inferior to.
Leigh surely must have known at least 3 of 4 weeks ago when it was announced that this would clash with the Man Utd match. Somebody at the RFL with a half a brain needs to get a grip of the administration and promotion of this sport.

I think moving it is actually a good thing.
I will be watching Utd then set off and listen to the rest in the car.
RL does not stand a chance against football and especially Salford when Utd are on the TV.

It's being moved 90 minutes, not to another day or from afternoon to evening etc. I'm sure a couple of people may be hindered by shift work but I'd imagine it will be balanced out by a few who might have skipped Salford for the footy if there was a complete overlap. |

Some Info Required, Mr Prestwich I'll be coming back to dear old Blighty this Friday for the first time since February 2020 (Last game 22nd Feb Leeds home)18 long Short months For the Leigh/Catalan/Hull FC Games I'll be staying in Whitefield. Have you visited the new Bar that used to be The Orange Tree If So what's it like ? Apart from being a bit pricey So I've heard. |
