He isn’t just supporting a brother he is attacking the character of the victim as well. I really don’t understand how you can’t see that Early bath.
I hope you’re never in the position of knowing someone who is raped or sexually assaulted and what they have to go through to get justice. And how rare it is that they do. For someone to go through that and then be attacked by other men with a strong platform (and spat on by another of his brothers) is awful.
If Inu really wants to help his brother then maybe he should try asking Haynes a few tough questions about why so many women seem to think he is raping them rather than calling the woman a liar. Maybe then he could help his brother not end up in that situation and help stop more women being raped.
What gets called ‘woke’ now used to be called common decency. Things like thinking it’s wrong for men to attack women

So Denton is Inu`s `crime` worse than Clubb`s? I certainly don`t think so and my reasoning cited above and earlier. His newborn surely cannot wake to find his/her dad out of work after supporting one of his `brothers`. Bit of a witch hunt and over reaction on here I feel. Good point though re `Sponsors`. Maybe Paul King should ask them what their view is. I think the context here is somewhat different although I can understand the comparison — and you did make me question my thinking of the topic as elsewhere I have suggested that there has been an over reaction to the fact that Clubb only got eight games. Whilst in isolation both of them are “unfortunate” (for want of a better word to describe them collectively) comments there’s a couple of important differences IMO. (1) Clubb made the comment directly with no intention that it really be heard by more than one or a handful of people. Evidentially Inu is aware he has a “platform” and has deliberately chosen to use that. (2) This is probably a personal opinion but I would say that having a pop at the victim of such a horrendous crime is in fact worse than what Clubb said. There’s a lot of sense in this thread regarding showing a degree of understanding when people make mistakes and also around how ****ter in particular carries far too much weight in our society, but there has to be some degree of consequence when you start having a pop at rape victims publically.

I was a glass cutter during the period my 5 sons were born (88-93). I can't ever remember losing my train of thought before their births and slinging shards of glass / offcuts at workmates or customers, nor publicly or vehemently airing my views .... then again Social Media did not exists at that time. The fact that he's ballsed up big time and / but has a child on the way should have no bearing whatsoever. Inu has had a glorious career, should by now have banked a pretty penny, and in my opinion has quite simply ..... screwed up big time. I have no sympathy after reading what he has spouted. Explain yourself sir, or hide you head in shame and disappear

First of all, the bloke who spat at the victim. I have daughters, so I'm more than willing to go round and rip his knackers off with my rusty dubbing shears.
Now that's out of my system...
I'm well aware that I'm opening myself up to accusations of naivety. Nevertheless, I think that, reading the message, it's just possible, just, that KI wasn't attacking the victim, just saying that he believes she needs help, and is expressing sympathy in a crass, stupid way. Maybe if he had had some brighter friend look over it first, and ask him if he really meant the post to be an attack on the woman, he would have changed what he put. Maybe. If that is the case, he should eat one 3h1tload of humble pie, apologise, explain, affirm that he has learnt an enormous lesson and promise to think before opening his pie hole or his laptop. But most of all apologise to the woman.
What he says in social media also reflects upon the club, and the sport of rugby league. But most of all, he needs to understand what a terrible thing he has done to the victim of a convicted sex offender.
My last three clients had me sign a standard operating procedure which clearly stated the social media policy and what my responsibilities are, and why, and the consequences to me, my company, them, and the industry, should I not abide by them. The club needs to have such a policy that all employees should sign up to. In fact, I believe that the club is irresponsible not to have one in place.
Regarding sponsors. Would a sponsor care to be associated with him at the moment? Not because he thinks that there has been a miscarriage of justice (and Australia is no stranger to miscarriages of justice against aboriginal Australians and Pacific islanders), and not because I think Inu has committed a 'heinous crime' as earlybath puts it, but because of the unthinking verbal attack on a woman who's probably already feeling pretty vulnerable. A woman about whom a court found his 'little bro' guilty of sexually assaulting and physically injuring. If I were KI's sponsor I would be extremely uncomfortable at the moment - and I notice that the sponsor's name has been removed from his page on the club website.

I saw someone post on twitter that he'd gone. But nothing official and could just be rubbish.

With a family to support I’d hope he’s being paid, If we’re not picking him pending an investigation then he’ll be paid. The likelihood is there’ll be an agreed pay off if we let him go

Just another example of the Community Club ignoring its community, good job we have this site where we can find out a few things. I believe also there's a form of reprieve for the development of the Academy development; I await news from Mystic Meg
I do wonder why those in the driving seat never tell the paying passengers where they're going, or even where they are. Perhaps 'they know best about everything' and we are just asked to pay now and again.
