Grow up pr. Did you expect me to come on here lauding how fantastic we are? Apologies for that. It was a long day and I was still fuming over the result and the ineptness of the team. Never reply when angry and after drinking is a lesson I will learn one day. We have all done it,the point is you have apologised I am sure we all accept it Enjoy the rest of the day. |

Our performances this season have been nowhere near good enough. We competed against Catalans for about ten minutes but after they scored their first try there was an immediate second one. Our heads dropped, the mistakes increased and we were dead and buried.
l don’t think any of our seventeen played to their potential. We were rudderless and all over the place. From what I saw we didn’t have anyone trying to rally the team; nobody seemed to step up as leader; nobody seemed to have any idea what we needed to do and things got worse and worse. Two seasons ago Jackson Hastings would have been rallying his team mates and trying to find a collective way out of the mess we were in. There was no sign of that leadership yesterday from anybody. Seventeen individual players got more frantic to succeed and made error after error.
As well as leadership on the field I was not sure what our game plan was, except for ‘Let’s try and keep the score down’ which didn’t work too well.
I thought our forwards competed quite well at times but our play makers did very little to create even half chances, except for Lolohea’s short kicking game in the first half.
I hope that these issues are addressed before we face Leigh, but on this Sunday morning, I don’t feel too optimistic.

The only thing I'd take issue with is the brown comments, playing in a beaten side without confidence would make a teenage player look past his sell by date. I have got the fullest admiration for kevin Brown and is career.I don't think it's anything to do with the pack,I think it's age,it comes to us all. You could be right but it's hard to tell in this team and those performances. |
