Escare doing his best to prove Marshall right for not picking him when Sarge was fit. Nothing to do with his defence, we knew that was poor already. No effort in returning the ball. Getting tackled into touch in our own half (again). Poor passing. Running backwards from dummy half when we’re on their line
But he’s not on his own. Plenty of poor decisions and, the big problem, no patience. Forcing passes when we should have just kept wearing them down. We nearly score 3 times in first 25 from kicks through against a fast line and then don’t try it again.
Out pack has matches theirs, we’ve had at least as much territory as them, possession must be pretty equal. And were 20-0 down
Last year at this point we stepped it up and then beat wigan the following week. See if we can step up this year.
So far it’s better than Hull. At least we’ve looked threatening a few times

So far in the few SL games we've had, we have not learned a single thing. Attack too flat, Brown sampling croissants, gain good territory give a penalty away, knock-on within the first three tackles, especially if in our own half, make sure to give away at least two ridiculous penalties that no other teams ever do. Show a serious lack of imagination and effort going forward.
It's enraging to watch.
The way things are going we will be lucky not to be in a relegation dogfight very early in the season. Massive changes required.
