I hope the rumour of Junior going to Wigan is a load of rubbish. I'd rather watch him in any shirt than 'cherry and white' or if you're not Ray French 'a Wigan shirt'. He seems to like the club and we definately like him. He won't get much praise from the Wigan fans. The lad doesn't play for praise but he does thrive on it. Why else would he spend so long with the fans doing pictures and such after matches? Koppzcak does the same. Might have misspelled his name. It's a weird one. Either way, he's played a blinder this year and although I'd be ill if he moved on, I'd wish him nothing but the best

It was in today's league weekly about the destinations of the players if we went down. Koppy was off to Leigh, Lui off to Leeds and Sau off to Wigan. The Sau to Wigan one might still happen.

In regards to next year we look top 6 team short of a starting hooker,centre and one is two forwards. Sam Moa is on his way back so id definitley take a punt and Crabtree and Huby could be on the outer at Huddersfield. Both maybe old but we're dying for a old headed propbto bring leadership etc.

Definately can not afford to lose Lui. Looks like he needs an op on that knee but the pre season is the time if he needs it. He's been a good signing. I think most of the big signings have come good. Vidot hasn't set the world alight, Burgess? I'm not convinced. Carney hasn't been given the service but when fit had made a lot of yards, which traditionally the forwards made. I'm all for the wingers taking a bit of work of the forwards but they also need to score tries and any team doing they're homework could predict how we play out a set

We need to find a replacement for Josh Griffin and if we don't get Kris Brinning I think we need to recruit a specialised Hooker (Shaun Lunt?). I really hope we manage to hang on to Sa'u. Lui, I'm not particularly fussed about as long as we bring in someone else to replace him.
Hopefully now that our Super League status for 2017 is confirmed we can start recruiting rather than just window shopping.

I'd keep Weller if his pay is reasonable,he might be one of the last of the silly earners.
I'd let Vidot go home,unless there's something we don't know about him regaining fitness,and pace.
Assuming we keep Lui and Junior,we need a centre. We certainly need an experienced hooker,although Tomkins has been seriously underrated.
Watson needs to decide where JJ starts.
For me,apart from Josh Griffin fulfilling his promise that he'd give 110% until he left, the big plus was the effort that BMM put in. Overall,our second row was immense when it needed to be,but sadly inconsistent during the season
We could do worse than make Evalds first choice winger. Sadly,Johnson isn't really good enough,exemplified when he didn't even attempt to beat the full back when he was in the clear.

League Weekly reports that Brining is definitely happening so it adds to the decent depth of interchange hooker with Brining, Kenny and Wood. We're still short of a starting 9. I've heard Beau Falloon been mentioned. Didn't do a lot at Leeds but id be willing to give him a shot as he's better than Lee.

Don't think 2nd rower forwards are what we need, good player for Saints but don't get the impression he would be a grafter. |

Not 100% but the person knew about gaz and koppy weeks before so I do trust him.

Seems a bit foolish to have Brining, Kenny, Wood and Tomkins all in the squad and unless we are releasing a back row or two can't see the need for Vea.
Burgess, Green, Kopczak, Burgess, Griffin and Krasniqi though quite a formidable set of forwards, Krasniqi and Griffin and both play anywhere in the pack for add much valued versatility.
I think more important is who is leaving, wouldn't surprise me if Joseph and Hauraki both go along with MCB, Josh G and Tommy Lee.
