Just read about Alex Hales, England T20 batsman, banned for recreational drugs BUT the leading player in the Oz Big Bash, one of the first picks in the Caribbean, Pakistan and Indian T20 leagues.
So banned by England and earning an absolute fortune playing the short form of the games.
So morals, standards, ethics, values, letting your team down, banned...no playing and money money money money money...makes the world go around.

I honestly believe for drug use (performance or a 'key') it should be a life ban from all sport.
That's the only deterrent.

Apparently Ben Thaler, in my view a really good ref, has been banned by the RL under investigation for a misdemeanour.
Wonder if it's to do with penalising Wigan too much in the semi and allowing us to win?

Hopefully I’m not saying anything libellous but word on the street is that an Australian ref over here gaining experience made a complaint against him and this is being investigated.
He is one of the best referees and they can’t afford to be losing the likes of him but obviously that doesn’t mean he can do whatever he wants. Hopefully for the league it turns out to be unfounded though.

Can't believe that this hasn't been mentioned but Catalan haven't exactly helped with the negative PR by making some Castleford fans remove Rainbow flags at the game on Saturday.
First apparently because they were a health and safety risk and then because it was policy.
Absolute disgrace.

First apparently because they were a health and safety risk and then because it was policy. Absolute disgrace. To be fair, Catalan have denied this. They said that people can do whatever they like. It seems that an over-zealous steward was at fault for this one. Unless , of course, they're blaming the steward after telling them to make sure that no rainbow flags are to be seen. Does seem a little fishy?

Was they waving the 🌈 flags so the other Cas fans couldn't see.
