Is Joey not right or was it a master stroke to keep Tomkins on for so long.
What really made me happy was right at the end Joey took over and told the Failure we would go for the 2 to wind the clock down.

Fantastic night and the tackle unbelievable but we keep getting it wrong on the right.
Against Wigan Griffiths missed tackle, try. against Leeds, Griffin missed tackle, try, against Wigan earlier in the year two missed tackles, 2 tries, so somebody needs to cover round the back on the rhs.
Booked the seats for Old Trafford though.

Absolutely incredible performance by all players. I have never been a huge George Griffin fan but last night he put in a hell of a shift, I'd love to see how many tackles he made.

50, brilliant, but keep continually losing it on that r edge. It's not him it's a team thing.

Thats almost 200 tackles in 4 games from him. I’m also not a huge fan but that is ridiculous!

Every team concedes on the right edge against Wigan’s left. Griffin and Tomkins will be missed

On another note - I think Bibby will also be missed. Since he’s been played in position he has been very good and got better each week. He ran and tackled hard last night and is that 5 tries in the last 6 games now? Shame we won’t get to see him develop further - he’ll be unlikely to get as much game time at Wigan as well. I’m sure his replacement will do well but he’s looked knackered lately and has been dropped for the last couple of games.

He didn’t play against us because of a hamstring strain I think. Sarg is a more complete player now but Bibby has a couple of years on him and have been excellent in the last month or so. I think Watto can get Sarginson back to his best

As we get a bit more stable financially it might be worth getting some on a longer term contract with a buy out clause, both ways.

LR you are spot on apart from your last remark,Dan Sargieson has been absent due to injury.

Oh well. It’s done now. Sad to see him go though.

Watson said all ok except Griffin who had a bit of a knock. They're made of granite mate.
