Jesus you lot are negative ! Whatever happens the boys will do us proud get behind them , enjoy the moment for Christ sake ! Oh I'm positive, positive win or loose Thursday will become the yardstick for Barton, there will be a bumper crowd, an amazing atmosphere and we will sadly say goodbye to a once in a generation player.

I'd not have Griffin in, penalties will be (or lack of) crucial on Thursday.
Again for Londonred it was tongue in cheek.

Last two matches 55, 45 tackles, most by a Salford player by a good few.

I was surprised they only went with one out and out prop on the bench at Wigan. I thought Johnson or Burke would be on the bench. (I know Johnson wasn’t in the 19)
Not sure if that was because of the threat of Wigan’s edges with Farrell and Greenwood so Watto decided he needed more rotation options in the back row so we might see Burke rather than Lannon on the bench this week

I worry when we play Cas about Edens pace out wide, while the ladies in the crowd might be worried about something more physical.

Always liked the look of Eden. he was scoring tries for fun last year. Now Castleford fans want to see the back of him. I know he has the odd brain fart in him but don't think signing Olpherts is the answer to be honest.

Something struck me last night, Thursday is the last time we will see Jackson (I'm convinced it is only for now) gracing Barton, we talk about creating memories at the new stadium this lad has done that over the past 15 months. All I can hope for is the chance to see twice more afterwards.
As for the game itself got to think this is winnable, my fear is that we will be exhausted after what's got to be our hardest game of the season last week. We must get some early points on the board as doubt we can hold Cas to a low scoring game.
As they are putting on free coach travel you'd expect a bumper crowd and an electric atmosphere. didn't strike you hard enough. Only kidding, first time I've managed to find my way back on here. Yes Cas are putting on free travel for the first 700 to come forward and each squad player has chipped in £200 each. Currently just short of 1,000 tickets sold so should be a great atmosphere with 2 very vocal sets of fans. Not sure how much the extra day turnaround will make but both teams had very physical and exhausting games last week and I believe both coaches gave them a couple of days off. REally looking forward to it as a battle of 2 coaches showing the big clubs what can be done on a limited budget. May the best team on the night win and I hope Jackson comes to the Cas fans at the end (win or lose) as they want to give him some applause. We did it last year for John Bateman when we lost at Wigan in the semi.

Trouble for Griffin is that Hicks doesn't like him, if you notice he always gets over penalised when Hicks is the ref
