You couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Biggest game in God knows how long and yet you have only have one turnstile open in South Stand (again!).
And as we speak they open a second one 6 minutes before kick off. Utter AJ Bellends!

Absolutely brilliant. So proud of these lot. From 1 to 17 they were absolutely immense tonight. Watto absolute legend. Thought last week against Wigan may have took too much out of them but couldn't have been more wrong. Honestly think something special is on the horizon here.

I’m absolutely knackered again! Incredible defensive display that. Attacking was never going to be scintillating in that weather but 5th tackle options need tightening up for next week. All were superb in defence but special mention to Evalds, McCarthy and Bibby who were excellent overall,
Wonder who we will play? Don’t really care to be honest- they will be pushed to the limits whatever the outcome.

To nil any side, let alone a play-off side is quite a feat. We didn't allow Cas to play. Hunted in defense. Made the right plays at the right time.
Played for each other. Massive one that.
Evalds made the play of the game with that tackle. Crucial time of the game and him succeeding in putting him out, no mean feat watch it back, was a massive point in the game for us. We never looked like losing after that.

Dear stadium management company thanks for your help getting in, basically should be in hospital with concussion, a sprained back and cracked ribs, your man spotted me struggling and let me use the big gate.
As for the game if that's not the start of endless Barton memories then I don't know what is.
And brilliant to see the Star Man back, kudos to the Salford family.

To nil a good team for our first ever playoff win. Fantastic atmosphere in the ground. All those 24 years of following this club and I’ve never felt quite like this before.

I'm in my local and quite a few people who know I'm a Salford fan are talking to me.
Though to be honest the concept of us playing the loser of tomorrow's game gets us next week is lost on them and if I'm honest me.

How big is the kebab?😲 Unbelievable effort across the pitch tonight and would be wrong to single players out (but I will anyway😁) but 2 players that don't often get credit but deserve a big shout out are Logan and Griffin. Tremendous stint from Logan who tackled himself to a standstill and Griffin likewise. Next week is just another bonus game in an amazing season. Come what may this team of players are bona fide Salford legends along with Watto and his backroom staff. Not ashamed to admit it but I'll be blubbing like a baby if we pull off the impossible against Saints or Wigan!😂 |
