One scenario is that the squad knows the Doc if he is staying will offer a massive bonus if they win the million pound game, it's a stretch I know but a possibility.
As an aside when is the hearing about the issues at Huddersfield away? Hope to God the RFL isn't going to rape us again and make survival impossible anyway.

If they dock us two points that could be it, even if we win against Batley, London would have to lose against Fev.
Then it would come down to points diff and I'm not too sure on the comparison, but we would prob have to rack up s big score against Batley,.

Are Hudd's getting done for bad stewarding ? |

They should be as the fact that they had the first four/five rows of seats and the steps going down to the front covered over was an accident waiting to happen. I noticed that on another TV game from there that these covers/advertising banners had been removed. |

He did indicate in the radio interview not so long ago that there was funding in place for next year so I took that he was going to stay next year then he'd be off which kind of ties in with him saying he's staying.
The thing that annoys / confuses me is why not come out and tell the fans before now, the only plausable reason I can think of is he was trying to keep the RFL guessing?

I have an inkling that he has been trying to get away from the club by finding other buyers but not found any.
Stay up in SL and get the club and team on a level playing field next season and selling will be a much easier option.

Does he not actually say he will stay if relegated. Maybe he has a buyer if we stay in superleague.

There is a big part of me that thinks that it would be better if we go down. Staying in Super League will leave us as one of the weaker teams with pressure to get into the top eight. If we go down, we can rebuild, introduce some of our excellent Under 19 squad and attack next year's middle 8's from a situation of strength and confidence. Having said that, still hope we stay up!
