Extra home fixtures are not to be underestimated. Finishing fourth is really important. Also, and I'm not certain on this, finishing fourth gives us BETTER home fixtures meaning that several clubs that we wouldn't fancy away from home ,actually come to our place. I have in mind Wakey and Huddersfield .

Home fixtures are Wakefield, Huddersfield, Castleford and St Helens. Away fixtures are Wigan, Leeds and Hull.

Target is to win our home fixtures and we are there? I'd suggest putting weakened teams out for the away games, but only Leeds do that sort of thing. Jimmy

Really bad day at the office on Friday, absolutely shocking - against Leigh as well FFS. What's worse is that I was absolutely starving, had no tea, and there was always a massive queue at the bar inside - so no pie, no pint, no Salford tries - not good! Thankfully Saints did us a favour and we managed to finish 4th. It means we get some of the "easier" teams at home now, i.e. Huddersfield, Wakefield, possibly Saints. Hopefully we can kick on now and regain some of that early season form, starting of course with the cup on Sunday. Maybe these two new signings can give us a much needed boost. I'm not holding my breath though if Friday was anything to go by
