As I have just posted elsewhere think there is something along the lines of if we beat them they avoid a trip to Catalan in the play off's, we need to rest players ahead of next weekends semi but then must ensure we win rather than allowing others to assist us stay in the top 4.
For me Manu Vatuvei must start this weekend, we can't possibly ask him to play his 1st competitive game in ages in a semi final again a Wigan team who know that in reality the Cup is their only hope of winning anything this year. If we start in the semi with Bibby and Evalds on the wings we get annihilated down the flanks road testing Vatuvei is imperative.

Agreed MR. If Vatuvai is fit he has to play. I like Bibby and Evalds but it's one of the weakest wing partnerships in SL atm. What's the deal with Johnson & Koppy injuries? Do we have an ETA on them?
Leigh are there for the taking (famous last words!) and I'd be seriously concerned for our Super 8 campaign of we can't go there and win. Not saying it will be easy as this is the one game they'll be fired up for with our previous but we have more than enough quality to turn them over if we're "on it".

Think the mind set needs to be we should go and hammer Leigh and go for all out attack and try to build the confidence back up as it surely must have suffered lately with some of the rugby we have played.

I think we'll give them a good hiding on Friday. Vatuvei hat-trick... you heard it here first! redpiperman's flag will hopefully be arriving on the day of the game too. Can't wait to see how it turns out. |

Agreed - we need to turn them over to show we mean business for the semi and into the super 8's and Vatuvei - provided he's not injured already from the flight - HAS to play.

The interesting selection will be the second hooker as Brining is out again.
Will Tomkins go for the full 80?
Or will Luí or Carney do the job?
I personally don't want to see Krasniqui doing it because his passing is not up to it.
I would like to see Lui there at 9 interchanging with Tomkins with Carney at 7.

Wonder if the RFL will make anything of it or will Uncle Gary put a stop to such obvious common sense.

I'm just hoping that Carney & Dobbo are never paired together, twice they've played and twice they've been woeful. Lui has to start at 6 with Dobbo at 7. So i'd probably go with;
