We're up to second in the table now. I am dreaming, aren't I? I will wake up soon, won't I? Absolutely f***ing buzzing!

20 years since we last won four in a row in super league. That last win was a one pointer win against Sheffield - the drop goal supplied by non other than Ian Watson !!!. Second in the league - nosebleed time !

Ok, on a roll now so let's make sure that all the 'sleeping' support turns out on Good Friday. Second in league, hammered Hull away. Only team to beat Cas this season. Bank holiday against local rivals with 3pm kick off and no football so no excuse to not turn up. Great things happening here at last. Salford are Truely Rising! C'mon you Reds.

Congratulations to IW MK and of course the team who were fcuking exceptional. I couldn't get there tonight but was listening on radio and woke the kids up numerous times....So what!! Ask yourself this, when do we start believing we can really do something this year? It's weird because even when we were 14 points ahead after they scored their 2nd try of the 2nd half, be honest who got the "here we go again sorry salford" thing in their heads? For the first time ever i wasn't worried, can we now start believing or what?

Great result tonight. Team played really well against one of the pre-season favourites. Roll on Good Friday

Watched the highlights back this morning...
How good was our attack?
Lui was exceptional. People are banging-on about Cas this year, and rightly so, but we're just as good going forward. Easter will be a hard test, but hopefully we maintain this focus that Watson has instilled and we can batter Leigh on Friday. To be fair, being the grudge match that Leigh and Salford always seems to be I'd settle for a win by any margin.
This season is like a dream at the moment...

Given our recent form and FC missing a few key players, I was expecting a win (that statement in itself shows how well we are doing). But to have the game won by half time and put 54 points on the board at the KC is a phenomenal result. Now we are up to second I hope we can keep our feet on the ground, put in a professional performance and secure a win against Leigh. I'm feeling dizzy looking down at all those clubs! I need to go and lie down.

I'm gutted I couldn't go. Watched the tries a few times. Some of our passing looked outstanding. I'd like to see more of what got us in the good positions and how much we'd pulled Hull out of their defensive structures. Hull looked bewildered at times as if they didnt know where the ball was going and I wonder how much of that was because of our attacking and how much was them not turning up in defence and missing Houghton and Taylor.
Ten tries all off passes is telling though. Can't be many times a team has scored 10 tries and not one of them has been from a kick. And the way we shifted it from the middle to the edges or from one side to the other looked incredible at times. Johnson looked like he had a good game taking his tries well and keeping the ball alive leading to 2 others. Lui looked a cut above and Dobson and GOB heavily involved too
I know everyone keeps saying it and we'll have to lose a game sometime but I'm loving everything about this so far. It's so un-Salford like. The way they defend as a team, the amazing attacking play. Going into games feeling confident. Feeling like they won't let leads slip. All very alien but in a good way!
Leigh will be a big test now. In the past it's exactly the kind of game Salford would lose on the back of s good run. Let's hope this Salford team really is different

Couldn't go could so going off highlights, agree r Lui and Johnson both exceptional but something which struck me was how good and quick Logan Tomkins was. Really impressed with him this year.
Leigh will be very tough, no mistake. We need to be on our steel, or another wakey result could easily happen. They are no mugs and with the ex salford contingent will want to send a message. We play our best we win, if not we will ready struggle.

The fact that we also have Kriss Brining as our interchange Hooker is great too, as they both offer something different and will only get better with age and experience.

I agree about Tomkins That catch and off load in the build up to (I think) carney's try was lovely and something I'm not sure he would/could have done a year or two ago. I've mentioned before how Watson is using him at first/second receiver this year which I don't think many of us would have predicted and shows how hes developed. It's great to see how he is flourishing and proving so many of us wrong. There was a good interview with him earlier in the season. I think it was in the guardian where he said he was living in the shadow of his more famous older brothers at Wigan where he was often seen as the less talented one and it must have felt at times that he was only there cos of Sam and Joel. Watson has shown real faith in him and he has responded brilliantly. Smacks of great coaching and needs a quality player to make the most of it Gonna stop now cod ive had a few beers and I'll be getting emotional!! What a season it's been so far

Tomkins has been great this season. Probably our most improved player I would say.

I'll see if I can get him to do the next Q&A after Greg Johnson.

I'll see if I can get him to do the next Q&A after Greg Johnson. bandgeekmafia78 that would be a really interesting interview. I read the Guardian article and found it an eye opener to how a younger brother feels following in the footsteps of more famous siblings. It's something as fan you don't think about. To me Logan epitomises the Salford "Group" as Ian Watson is very keen to highlight in every interview he gives. We have some very good players who are working really hard as a team to work for each other and improve week on week. Logan has done really well and appears to be getting better every time he steps on the pitch. As a supporter of 40 + years it' s a great feeling to see the team you've supported for so long putting in the type of performances you can only dream of. Hope we can beat Leigh and a win in Perpignan will certainly make the trip special
