Houghton, Carlos, Talanoa, Green and a possibility of Ellis being sidelined for next week. It's not a must win but will solidify us in the top 4 over Easter. Sau should be back but i believe O'brien took a knock to his back which could see him out.

Hull have just announced that Albert Kelly has been granted compassionate leave to return to Australia and will most likely miss the game. As horrible as it must be for him and his family, it works out extremely well for us.

It was Dobson who tweaked his back I think.
Hull are a high quality side regardless of how many are missing, if we beat them it is a statement of how far we've come and us safe in the top 8 for me.

Anyone heard anything about club coaches? Only way I'd consider going and really fancy a trip to Hull for the a change! Can't see anything on the official site.

Reading on the Hull forum they are saying griffins defences is poor which i think everyone on here would of noticed in this time at Salford so would be intresting to see if we target his side. Feel for Kelly but its our gain. If we cut out the silly penaltys then i do fancy us for this game.

If houghton, green and Kelly are out that's a big plus.
If Dobbo has tweeted his back rest him, we've a more than capable deputy, which also means we can have 3 forwards on the bench against their big pack.

I've said before, if anyone is not absolutely 100% fit, we have the squad to allow him the rest he needs. Rest him!

Gaz was down with a bad back towards the end of the game and was the reason he didn't do the Sky analysis segment after the match. Dobbo seemed fine.

So it's Gaz, will be a big loss but TC played FB for Roosters.
I believe Evalds played in Fax's win over Swinetown yesterday, could be why he's been given some game time?

Evalds in at FB for me. We'll lose something with the pivot that GoB brought into the line but if we can get TC involved again, maybe by resting BMM or Scrappy Do (sorry, Josh Jones) there's more than enough creativity on the field to threaten the FC defense. I'm fairly certain I saw Tasi used once or twice in Flanagan's role behind the ruck when Flanagan stepped in as dummy half! Secret weapon?

O'Brien took a knock going for the bomb where Dobson was judged to have obstructed a chaser by moving his shoulder blade a fraction😉 Not sure if he's out for the hull game though. If he is I would bring evalds in. He looked good there in pre-season against Rochdale but hasn't played there since. He looks capable of doing a similar job to GOB minus the kicking game. Carney might be an option too. If they play Varney then it suggests to me that evalds days are numbered! If Lui had a hamstring pull on Thursday then I'd be tempted to rest him so he's fit for Easter. So carney at 6 and evalds at 1. Possibly bring Wood onto bench

Sounds rather good !!!
If we win, we will be 3rd, leapfrogging Hull and maybe even 2nd depending on Leeds trip to Warrington. - Oh well, 3rd then.... Castleford will win against Wigan which could then give us a 3 point gap should we get over the line against Hull.
Either way, leading up to Good Friday's game against Leigh I think we will still be in the top 4. How many people would have predicted that?
Phil Clarke?
