I’d play Hank at 1 and Nikorima at 6. Bar Nene who hurt his leg last night other players are back.

Remember it’s going to take time for zNikorima to learn the systems…..crucial position…but he’ll need time…so I’d put Atkin on for the first 20 or so until we need Nikorima

I think Nikorima will start tbh. I don't really see the point in continuing to play guys at 6 that are just providing a pivot.

I just hope Nikorima provides a bit more so that others will respond and work off the outcomes, I think a large part of the problem at present is the total reliance on one player.

I'd like to think that an injection of enthusiasm and energy in a key position can often be the spark that lifts those around them. I know it takes time in such a key position to learn plays, names, and settle into a group dynamic and I think the extra week with the team for Nikorima will be beneficial.

If we believe Rowley, then the question is how do you ‘re enthuse’ the team. Aside from the consideration some of them will be faced with many of ‘Salford’s finest’ at undoubtably “inquisitive” club events at the Dog and Tiger Moth. Erm. What then? Well the return of Lewis, Stone and the arrival of Niko will help. Maybe time outs for the salad greenery of Wilson, Connell, Pye, Morgan for Cas home? Personally I think we need to target games for the rest of the season. Leeds, Leigh, Catalan are our rivals for the play off spots. Win these and it may be all is needed one or two more wins to secure that spot. Aside from pride, it’s more money, more IMG points. You know they might (coughs 🤧) reach the Grand Final.

If the Cas game win is going to depend on which side has more enthusiasm like Hudds we might have to rely on performance enhancing prayers!

Results have been in our favour this week. Cas, looked pretty good against the Dragons. We'll need a better performance to be in with a chance of beating them that's for sure.

Sadly my season is over with the four remaining home games all being on a Saturday. I know with tv some times it’s out of their control but we have played Sundays through the Summer but are now going back to Saturday as the football season starts, which is where I have commitments as a club official. Unless it changes for next season my 30 years as a season ticket holder are over.

Agree S, to me:
In the winter/ colder months when folks want to get out….Sunday In summer, warmer months Friday night
And we also need to miss MU, MC matches
Why don’t you contact the Community Board so that they can try and do something about it NOW…I’m sure you’ll get a lot of support. A doc ‘Attendance at Salford matches’ could be developed to send to the RL Board and IMG…they want the crowds as much as we do…at least dialogue could be started
Thoughts??

I have to admit that, after a bit of thought, that I can't see the two signings we've made making a significant enough difference. There's always a personal challenge as a fan to deal with the facts and reality against the outcomes you're desperate to have. However, at the moment, Cas look like the bridge too soon especially given the performances against Les Dracs and Hudds. ....

The issue is Brierley Cust and Mellor have all been injured so the Spine has been totally disrupted…now we have yet another spine which will take time to gel And Dudson, Lewis and Bullock new to the pack..so don’t expect too much
