What a strange round of results with Wigan are Saints having shockers. We need a win today to keep distance between us and Leeds. Leigh are in form but still 3 wins away. We cannot play like last week that was unacceptable. Brierley needs to join the line and link up more this afternoon.

Brierleys coving across the line at fb, non existent…he has to take reponsibility and should be accountable
But a new squad…great tackling, good forward drive and it’ll only get better…and Nikorima looks to fit into the brand

We were clearly the better team for large spells of that game but we somehow nearly gifted Cas the win.
I thought Nikorima looked decent on debut and he'll only continue to improve.
Big effort needed against Leeds next weekend. A win should hopefully cement our place in the playoffs.

Salford dominated the game. We had a decent try chalked-off, and another disallowed which was probably fair. All but one of their tries were off forward passes. We didn't look like losing at any point, imo. Although I do admit, that we made some stupid plays that Cas punished us for.
So we played marginally better than the last few games, got the win more importantly. Quite a lot of positives to build on. Leeds game is quite a biggy now.

Well that almost went very Sollyesque. Near dominance, yet we were at one we were behind.
Lots of reassuring positive play, but plenty of brain farts like especially the school yard mishaps in the second half that lead to Cas’s last try. Nikorima looked solid, Hankinson came on and made a big difference imo, but we still struggle to defend the edges.
But hey this is significantly more than I expected this year. Puts me and I guess others, in a state of guarded optimism against Leeds.
Talking of which I hope Terry O’Connor and the rest of 1990 lads today were tapping on Bleasy to get the rounds in today🥃🍺🍷
Happy. Salford win and it’s getting hot. ✊😎✌️

We got the win should have had more points tho I still believe we can score tries for fun just needs tweaking … brierley needs to step up his defending always out of position left edge needs to improve and I think we should have introduced Hankinson earlier in the game
I don’t agree with shorrocks at hook
All players deserve credit today they was all up for it and looked like they wanted to win … big praise for Ryan a lot of running the ball in instead of props from kick off

Brierley seems lost defensively at fb, Hankinson much more aware and secure. Shorrocks decision making at times, awful
But it was good to see our pack battering theirs for long periods. Defensively of course the left edge was rubbish, together with the missing Brierley
Rowleyball was played too much at time esp when we had the game won
BUT, bar Ormondroyd our best team out this season; the first time that group has played together so we will improve.
Can someone tell the half backs to follow Mellor when he makes the half breaks
