May as well start this thread early after the news of Brierley getting a 1 match ban from the 3 blind mice, sorry, erm disciplinary panel.
So who are we moving to FB....Cross or Hankinson? Not seen much of Hankinson at FB but he's a strong runner so will return the ball well and he's a touch slower than Cross I think so would keep him on the wing.
Atkin has to stay as bench hooker for me so would leave him out of the equation.
King back to bolster the pack.
No Watts or Tasipale for Cas due to bans.
Not heard of any injuries from Leeds game unless anyone knows any better?

Let’s see if the appeal for Brierley is successful.
Either that or Atkin at FB - Bourouh and erm Shorrocks as rotating HK imo.

Maybe Nofoaluma can play there?
If not, I think Atkin has to go there. Shorrocks can have a stint at hooker. Or, maybe, the young halfback we signed from Leeds can do a spell at hooker.
I wouldn't feel comfortable with our three-quarters at FB. Nene moved there at weekend (which indicates he'd be above Hank and Cross) and was awful—he should have tackled Handley all day long.

Think hankinson is well equipped to play FB, not sure if he's done it before but looked safe under the ball and his defence was decent. Quite impressed with his first hit out.

If the appeal is unsuccessful then my 1st choice would be Cross playing fullback given his position would seem the most at risk with Nofoaluma coming in. Other than that Connelly seems a gamble but given he is described as a full back/winger on our reserves website then would assume he must be a logical option.

Think it will be atkin personally I agree on Atkin, with Ryan out, though I imagine Nofoaluma could also be an option. But why is it a daft post? Connell is 21 years old and listed as a full back. Under what circumstance do you think he should make his debut? If Brierley is out that's our first choice FB. Ryan would be the second choice FB, I would imagine. And there is also Atkin, but with Mellor out, Atkin is needed at hooker. I know Shorrocks can cover there, and as I say, I'd have Atkin at FB this weekend, because I've never seen Connell play. But, given we have two FBs out and a third who's usual position for us it rotational hooker. When would be a good time for Connell to play? |

Small club mindset to not think that youth should have the chance to step up and stake their claim. Any other big team out there does it so why shouldn’t we? We’re never going to compete if we don’t give chances to our youth players

I’d rather send him on loan to league 1 side for a few games let him play against men, reserve league is abit of a sham at this point
