If Lafai knocked on then why did we get the feed at the resultant scrum? In other words the officials were wrong to disallow the try. Because it was a knock on each way. Leigh first so our scrum. Touch judge gave it so was a slight delay. Thaler clearly signalled it on the pitch. Couldn’t believe the controversy about it on the day or since. Hard to see on video if it came off his head or his upper body but they get given as double knock 99 times out of 100. With a video ref it could have been reviewed (and I am a big believer that BR should be at every game) but if TJ was certain it might have been stopped anyway and if it was sent up as no try it might not have been clear enough to over rule. Can clearly see it comes off Leigh player into Lafai and forward from there What was the excuse with their try because he certainly didn't ground it unpaired vision or know vision.I would like to know what the guy behind the sticks is for keep the crowd amused We have gone from Thaler being the best in the league to he is usually fair. I have said it before I will say it again this game will die on feet and some of it will be down to officials So why is our penalty count the way it is I am not having it we worse than everyone else's The referee we had for the Leeds game would have been out of is depths in a paddleing pool infact he should never be allowed to officiate again

Apparently the TJ gave that try, Thaler had said probably no,…in goal official? The ref, TJ and In Goal officials all a team The ref last week, yes out of his depth, and completely lost it; I heard the Club put in a v strong complaint Thaler as good as there is for me
V hard for refs to keep up now the game is so fast…need Video Ref and Captains Chalkenge at each match

Or we could get rid of all the tech and suck it up when we feel aggrieved and moan in the pub afterwards like we used to.

I have just seen the Leutele try on the super league show its much clear. That Yorkshire prick Thaler got it wrong, he looks in touch and like he loses control of the ball. Never mind the Burgess try, Hardaker infringement on the Lafai break or the last Leigh try which was a mile forward. Absolute awful Ref.

Russ: "Or we could get rid of all the tech and suck it up when we feel aggrieved and moan in the pub afterwards like we used to." "Used to"? Most of us still do. A serious question: has all this modern technology actually moved the game on?

Come on guys, look how it’s used esp in the NRL and even in Union…the problem is that it’s not at all matches and we don’t use it fully/ properly

I've seen it in the NRL and it just as useless but in a very Aussie way.
Refs are no better in any other sport or League JJR though I know you think this is true.

I seem to recall it was advertised to be Mr A Moore but cant be sure it actually was him. However, whilst I am no angel in shouting my displeasure at some decisions or booing after the Leeds game either, they have a thankless task and they make mistakes same as the players do but its never intentional. Some fans now take it to way to far with abusive and vile comments and that needs stopping both at the game and online quickly. I hate us losing as much as anyone but its just a game and 2 points at the end of the day.

Totally disagree Russ, reffing in NRL at a much higher level. Video refs in Union miss little…VAR in footy is beyond me though…I think you’re a soccer guy by the sound of it

1) You should've gone to specsavers, the NRL ref video and paddock make just as many errors as SL refs.
2) Vichy refs miss so little because a) the game is geologically slow and b) no one involved in the sport understands the rules so don't even know when refs mess it up. 3) Although I'm one of the few RL fans I know that have seen football at Old Trafford, St Andrews, Burnley and the Baseball Ground I find soccer far better than kick and clap but nowhere near as good as the real thing.
