JJR I think you need to stop following the money as that only works in police dramas.
You made a list of ref and Leigh things and then blame SRD talk about cake and eat it!
The players are getting frustrated by ref decisions and at the moment SRD look like the Dragons of seasons gone by, always at a loss with the latest from the salop Arbi!

I think the call was that the Leigh player (O'Brien?) lost the ball forward into Lafai and was judged as two knock-ons - theirs being the first.

Why can't you blame either? From 15-20 yards away you could see it wasn't a try so no excuses for the officials who must've been within 5 yards of it. It's just incompetency. Still, it's got some way to getting anywhere near as bad as the Burgess one given against Wakey last year when he was in Row F by the time he touched down.😂 Luckily that day it had no impact on the result. This one sadly did.

C all this happens in a split second, arms and legs flying about and ref and TJ running around players From what I believe TJ made decision, Thaler abided by it…wrong possibly but we need video at each game or we put up with this

LH Red the Oracle…perhaps he’ll impart his knowledge and wisdom, from his seat on high in the Club With all the effort I really do feel sorry for the players and coaching staff…the odd mess aka Wakey home and away but we need resource in ever way. Glad we’ve got a weeks rest. And I now agree with your need for a good prop…Dupree and Ormondroyd were poor yesterday and as you say Atkins too small to start as a middle The million dollar question can we bring anyone in over the next two weeks? WR you’ve heard from the top via DA, we’re surviving, so we have to be content with that. Sadly we’ve not used one of our Quota spots this year which might cost us top 6, but we survive as usual and try not to keep being a feeder club It seems that’s where we are and the Community Share money is the survival fund with a bit left over to try and generate funds. So not much further forward but due to the fans generosity we’re still here and with a set of players and coach that continually overperform I assume these new top drawer specialist additions to the Board have the ability to g3nerate th3 required funds now but I wonder why the Board just grows and grows and we just about survive due to continual asking of more funds from the supporters. And we’re continually, as shareholders of a Community Club, kept in the dark.

DA pointed out that the club struggled to pay the wages earlier in the season, didn’t say it was recently. The new commercial staff who have come in have ensured that all sponsorship whether that be match ball or game sponsorship are sold for the season, have improved the game day experience a lot. No doubt helped with the relaunch of the platinum dining and ensuring that is well attended. You say the board grows and grows, likelihood is all of these people are volunteers who are giving up their own time to assist. You go on about quota but who do you propose we sign?

We are in the dark as regards the investments and also the plans (Granted we know about the commercial sales guys). We have done our bit, invested and collectively got more fans in for the last 3 homes games. An update on finances and potential recruitment (even if its just we are looking) would be welcomed. All we get back is feedback from Rowley that no players have been past across his desk to consider when journalists ask each week. Maybe LH Red / RR and others know more. Investors should be kept informed.

Maurice. Re Atkin. You have a short memory. When we demolished Hull FC he played at LF and was excellent providing the extra pivot. I see where Rowls is coming from.

EB I agree to an extent, but not starting. The first 20 is usually a tackling stint, at which on Sunday, for the first 20, we were awful
I, who know nothing, thinks that starting with Bourouh for the first 20 then bringing Atkin on would have not axausted Atkin

Totally agree RR, in a police state, nobody can comment on the rulers; even shareholders can’t comment on the body with which they hold shares. Long live Putin.
We only pay our money in, we can’t have a voice as well
Re the Quota RR, possibly we might ask Blease, presumably he and Rowley have a long list. Other clubs are doing it…Wakey, KR, and Cas Leeds Leigh Warrington etc all working on players…

SRD have been a very quiet club when it comes to signatures for some time now, and this has especially applied being certain that everyting is signed sealed and delivered.
Although there are very good reasons why this should be the case it does make for a lack of excitement generally on the one hand and a hole where marketing is needed on the other.
It's about the only non-boring bit of soccer and why so much emphasis is placed on it.

If Lafai knocked on then why did we get the feed at the resultant scrum? In other words the officials were wrong to disallow the try. Because it was a knock on each way. Leigh first so our scrum. Touch judge gave it so was a slight delay. Thaler clearly signalled it on the pitch. Couldn’t believe the controversy about it on the day or since. Hard to see on video if it came off his head or his upper body but they get given as double knock 99 times out of 100. With a video ref it could have been reviewed (and I am a big believer that BR should be at every game) but if TJ was certain it might have been stopped anyway and if it was sent up as no try it might not have been clear enough to over rule. Can clearly see it comes off Leigh player into Lafai and forward from there
