What I said was that given the give and take nature of the sport there shouldn't be huge differences in the number of penalties and very often they are, that's far from saying no difference at all.
That fatigue and concentration drop off is directly attributable to the number of penalties especially since the introduction of six again they are not mutually exclusive parts of the game.
I always slightly struggle with the points your putting across Russ tbh. Not a slight, I think we just have different writing styles. But i think from what you put we are pretty much saying the same thing then? I think that's often the case kilop we spend time arguing about the little agreements that seperate us.

If HKR do the same the world of RL will be all the better for it.
And, of course, we should've beaten them.

As much as it pains me, I'll be hoping that HKR beat the pies tomorrow. We desperately need different teams in finals and a Leigh HKR final is something our sport needs.

The commentry and punditry was another example of the general leaning of RL some was appalling, some silly and most biased.
Interesting to see Saints getting upset with the ref and I suppose that's what happens when the screensavers broken down!

Am I bitter in not wanting Leigh to win the final? We've had some tough calls in our big games (GF/CC Final/SL SF at Saints) and just one of those calls goes our way and we'd have had a piece of silverware as just reward for a few seasons of brilliant entertainment. I only caught the last 20 minutes today of the match today while lying on the beach but it seemed like Leigh got more than a fair crack of the whip from that norbert Kendall which is exactly what we've never had.
And the amount of god awful Leopard bucket hats in the crowd alone today makes me want them to lose.😂
Congrats to Leigh, an excellent performance, but I'd really struggle to cheer them on in the final.

The way Leigh have come thro this year, albeit with fortune with injuries, makes me concierges even more that we can have 14 teams in DL, with no relegation…but these new rules could sort that out

First 40 was all saints,but second 40 Leigh came into there own and did what they had to, great defence from them, living in Leigh I'll not stop hearing about this haha

Saints' fans seem pretty awful focusing inwards for the loss and blaming everyone except the kit man.
I read an article about RL's reluctance when it comes to social media, and I think the Journo was wrong and RL's correct if that's what people post and how they react.
You would imagine they'd been mullered from the responses. I also noticed how anxious they were in the crowd yesterday, you'd have imagined it was them under the cosh and lightyears from their last major trophy outing rather than Leigh.
