I have before I will say it again,these referee's will turn people off the game. Now the game we snatched defeat from the Jaws of victory,our kicking game was terrible Snyed shouldn't have been on the pitch.
I think our playoff hopes have gone,but like others have said we need some beef in the pack.

I thought we were the better side today but still making unnecessary mistakes.

We let Leeds walk in their first try. We went 4 or 5 sets in a row not completed in the second half of first half. Sneyd kicking the ball directly into touch to gift them a penalty.

We were unlucky to lose Sneyd for the conversions. I suspect he’d have kicked the one brierley missed.

Leeds defence was good too.

Good to see us playing well but no where near trophy winning standard.

Ref not good enough to be pathetic…both coaches agreed he was dire

Sneyds misses are generally from midway in on the left, as he did the first today…why doesn’t Sneyd kick from the right and Brierley from the left?

Both 2nd rows were a credit to the Club…to me yes we were a bit naive but we were cheated out of it by the official…sad because it’ll stop,people coming

Can't see anything that started the brawl from that footage. The 2 Leeds players obviously took umbrage to something Atkin "did" but you can't see it.

Lots of manbags ensued though so can't see any bans coming as didn't look like any punches thrown.

Radio Manchester phone-in was pretty toxic. I try and be the voice of reason when it comes to refs but today was farcical. If the ref is out of his depth then the 4 "touchies" need to help out. They're neither use nor ornament IMO and all they ever do is walk on the pitch asking defenders to roll away in the tackle.


Don't get me wrong, we have to help ourselves sometimes by not missing tackles/knocking on at the PTB but the officiating has to be better.

The pen in the first half summed it up. We make a break down the left edge and then get pulled back for a penalty for a late hit costing us 30+ metres. What advantage does that give to the aggrieved side?!🙄

There were positives today though. The pack stood up against bigger guys and I thought Kingy was outstanding going forward. Still issues with the spine not quite clicking (and Tim needs to hold onto the ball!) but we'll get there. Don't give up guys, we're good enough to beat Leigh and we can go to Catalans and get a result as well.
