Cas home 13th April.
Hoping traffic ain't too bad heading back from Southport later so going to be an early finish for me and carvery tea in the Barley Farm I think.😋
Fancy us to sneak this one and hope we can create a great atmosphere as Thu night games can be a bit dead at times.
Let's try and make it a friendly welcome for any of the newbies as well.... we don't want any of them put off by some of the more "colourful language" brigade in the South Stand!👍

If my memory is better than my wife tells me it is, the two sides we were unable to get a win against last season were Wigan and HKR.
KR stuffed Wigan in round one.
Not an easy task tonight (but I have chosen us by 14 on the new prediction league).

I remember the game at home v KR last year we were awful, it was a dire match to watch. Need to defend like we did v Leigh and also attack as we can and I am confident of a win. I'd give yourselves time tonight with the Utd traffic also.

Abdull did us at home last season if memory serves me right, plenty high kicks went up from him, but after Friday night where we did alreet under some pearlers,things will change 🤞

Home to the Barley Farm in an hour. I got the last parking space here at 6.40 and judging by the queue at the bar to get served it's gonna be a cracking crowd.👍 Currently sitting watching the cars queue for the AJ car park while stuffing my face with carvery.😋 No excuses for us tonight with that team we have out.... just need to stop Abdull bombing us to death like he did last season! |

Embarrassingly bad.
Saying that, we consistently play awful against HKR every year. I think it may be a way for the universe to balance out the karma from the million pound game...
