It is that idiot Garrido opposing all council backed development in Salford, he's only bothered about his rich Tory supporters in Worsley. The article is written in such a way that its negative towards the club, we did not loan 350k off the council it was 175k for a start. And if we are not here who will get fans in? Salford FC with their 1,000 - 1,500 really?? Sale and Salford are the only tenant options for the ground.

Garrido the voice of the Tory's he forgets over 11,500 signed a petition for the club to remain at the AJ Bell. Now he wants scrutiny on the Council who are trying to do the right thing, Salford and Sale are the only viable options for the stadium. |

[br Garrido and Ward seem hell bent on destroying 150 years of our City’s heritage for what? Just so they can convince themselves that they are still relevant. They should ask themselves this question, what is the alternative solution now Peel want out? The fact is there isn’t an alternative as the Sale/Salford City’s deal was a miserly deal that barely covered the operating costs. If managed properly the Council buy out deal could unlock so much potential for the City, jobs and investment is exactly what the City is crying out for |

But I think it’s too big for Swinton and Salford FC There are a couple of factors that will work against the 3 teams ground sharing. firstly, the RU Premiership criteria won’t allow a club to ground share with two other sporting clubs. Secondly, the pitch couldn’t cope with the heavy wear n tear that it would be subjected to over the course of a season. |
