It’s been said that as Croft was assessed (rumours) only by video and not physically that he might be assessed on Weds to determine whether he can play; but maybe false hope as nothing official. He did look out of it on the video when it happened tho
If not be interesting to see how Atkin performs.

Spoke to King Vuniyayawa after the game. They’ve supposedly told Croft they’ll get him to the “Big Darts” *Grand Final so that must rule him out.
Thought they did ok 2nd half but definitely a big miss. Just give it everything and see where we are after the 80 minutes.

Brierleys wasn’t dangerous, really hope he doesn’t get anything He was pulled for an off the ball challenge in 2nd half on Toby King. Didnt look too bad but have seen others pick up bans for similar incidents this season. |

Hopefully Lafai won’t get a ban. If he does then maybe he can negotiate to serve it in the first game of the World Cup….

Don't think any of our players warrant a ban - if either Salford or Leeds get bans it is a disgrace and shows the RFLs bias to a Wigan and Saints final. Cats should have several bans incoming.
Next week is a challenge if Croft is missing, we cannot afford to move Brierley from 1 as he creates, playing a half fit Sarge is a gamble. Atkin has been great as an impact player this year against tiring forwards. Escare at 6 is an option but then we move away from our structure - interesting selection choices for Rowley. The good news is our squad now has options.

If Lafai ban and Sarge not fit….Livett, was good last season at centre….but needs to eat some raw meat before the match
Muted Walmsley may not be fit.

When he replaced Brierley at fb earlier he was brilliant, an enigma.
Big match, big players and he was in Wayne’s World Cup squad, so we’ll see
i doubt if he’ll be fit anyway

People seem to be forgetting how good Sarge was on his first game back against Saints. Yes he had a shocker but he was out on the wing (Cross should've been out there) and players have these games. Does no-one remember how bad Budgie was at HKR earlier in the season? Christ, he had an absolute stinker but it was a one off.
Croft is a huge loss. Atkin is brilliant off the bench and has been on fire recently but I think he'll have to start at 6. I'd have Sarge on the bench.
I'm not sure Escare is in Rowley's plans at all so can't see him featuring.
We've just got to suck it up and turn Saints over without our (and the league's) best player. Massive task, but I believe in these boys and they ain't gonna feel sorry for themselves. I expect another huge effort, win or lose.
