Where’s the best place to park for Saints , don’t fancy Tesco just in case and got blocked in last time on one of the £5 car parks ?? Not sure usually get dropped off, may need to drive Saturday. Found the below but don’t know how good any of these are www.sthelens.gov.uk/matchdayparkingTBH I've always parked on Tesco as it's 3 hours free I think and pretty much everyone does the same. Unless you're planning on getting there really early and leaving really late I don't think you'd have many issues. Other than that you've probably got a 15 minute walk if you want to avoid the usual queueing out of the "official" stadium car parks and find some free on-street parking. I often used to park in Peel Green to walk up to the AJ Bell and that's about 15 mins so might be worth a shot if you don't mind the walk. Been having a nosey on RedVee and despite a few Saints fans being quite complimentary about us and judging our chances on respective form and current squad availability, the vast majority are churning out the usual "it's only Salford, if we can't beat them we're a bit of a joke" kind of comments.
That's the sort of sh*t that winds me up about fans of supposed "big clubs", the arrogance that they've only got to turn up to put those little clubs back in their place!
It's a massive task but these lads can pull it off. I think they believe it themselves and dear God we're due some luck there as we've been so unlucky a number of times now.
Whatever happens we've got to out sing them for 80 minutes. The players definitely feed off the fans and we need to do our bit.

Let’s hope the team think like that and a fully fit full strength Saints team would be v difficult to beat. But without a regular Scrum half and with a half fit stand off, 2-4 inured players coming back, their best prop out, with a fumbling lump at centre and against a team that’s on fire….I think their team will be v v wary and maybe after the shell shocking at the AJ feel the pressure.
The first twenty for Saints is crucial from the confidence viewpoint.

anyone else having trouble buying tickets online ? I'm trying to buy 3 tickets - 1 Adult, 1 senior and 1 junior, all ST holders - but I get an error message 'Unfortunately, you are attempting to purchase more tickets for a match than you are allowed to. Please double check, and either choose a different price class, use "assign" to assign tickets to a member within your network or remove items from your basket to proceed.' any ideas? - I've tried assigning the tickets as suggested but get the same message. Just trying to resolve without having to ring the ticket line. Yep, can't really get to the stadium tried on-line to get 2 and only seem.to be able to order 1. Maybe it's the Yorkshire air🤣 I couldn't do it on line. Contacted the ticket office (they called me back after leaving a message). They sorted the tickets for me and arranged for me to collect at St Helens on match day. They were brilliant. |

After 3 Days in the South working glad to be back in Salford to catch up on the Rugby.
If Ian Blease statement on 3,000 tickets already being sold is true then we only have several hundred left to sell for the East Stand which holds just short of 4,000. For anyone that has not got a ticket I'd suggest getting them ASAP or it is the Saints end. This is unless Saints off the Salford fans seating somewhere besides the very limited seats in the East stand.
