Marshall must not believe in tackling in training because I can’t see much evidence of it in this game unless Wire’s Kit is made from Teflon

I stopped watching at half time.
Team looks lost.
Some of the worst defensive reads I've seen a pro RL team make. Would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic. I'm really thinking that this team has no future together. It feels like it simply will not gel no matter what. Why that is I don't know, but the team lacks heart and passion. What did they do in pre-season with regards to defence? It's some of the most pathetic defence I've ever seen from a Salford side, just not good enough.
We need to hope that Leigh don't get their act together or we're staring into the abyss of not only relegation, but the prospect of Salford never recovering from dropping out of SL. Watching the side this year is like watching someone being slowly tortured to death, it certainly feels like it as a fan.
I know we've got injuries but so does everyone else and we can't keep using it as an excuse. I'm not sure what RM actually does with the team but I see little positive effect on the current crop of players.
At what stage do we start to question the coaching team? Are they still on the 'Time to bed-in' phase? Or has that passed yet?

Dont understand Marshalls thinking. What we had under Watson wasnt broken. He has come in and tried to re-invent us but is failing massively. Cant see us sticking with him if performances never mind scorelines continue to continue this way. Too many good players look unfit, uninterested and unable to even complete the basics. Possibly another case of good assistant but lousy no1.

Possibly another case of good assistant but lousy no1. I was willing to give RM the benefit of the doubt but I'm not really seeing anything positive from his appointment at the moment. Would you give another appointment the chance to rescue this mess before the end of the season? Or should we wait for the slow disintegration as the season wears on? Is RM capable of salvaging this and turning it around? |

You can loose.But tonight we aided and abetted the loss,the tackling for the majority of the game was none existent except for a couple of players.I don't see what coaching they are getting from the Coach,or if their is they are not capable of putting it into practice.Yes Warrington are a good side but we made them look better than they are.I have said before if we finish one above the bottom I will take it now,others can differ if so you are seeing more than me.

Just got back was fuming at half time (First 20 mins awful) no words other than disgraceful. To boot we then put on a very unfit Prop called Darcy Lussick who then gets 10 mins for a moment of stupidity. Most of our forwards are championship standard the missed tackles are woeful then to add we lack any of sort of discipline.
Time for action Marshall out
No attack / No defence / Going backwards and very much candidates for relegation. Any Salford fan who rates this coach is kidding themselves, we're a rudderless ship no consistency.

Marshall is obviously Championship at best... I know a coach who is available you all probably hate the guy..... Brian McDermott... But he does have a good track record, you have to take his Toronto debacle out of it, still a good coach.

Outclassed tonight and whilst it hurts it can happen. What I cannot take is seeing Dec Patton laughing and joking with his ex team mates straight after the final hooter. Show some remorse and save the laughing and joking until you are out of sight of the fans.
