Sounds like Burke might be back this week. In the pre match press conference, Marshall said he’s an option at 9. Addy still out for another week.
I thought Livett was our best player v Cats, alongside Ackers, but not convinced he’s a 13. I think he’s mostly played his career at second row and centre with a bit of half back so wider than 13s play. I’m sure he could do a job there if needed. I think Wells has played at prop, second row and loose already this season. I’ve been impressed with him

Think I’d stick with Atkin as the 2nd hooker and have Burke on the bench too. Start with Wells at loose, Bring Burke on after 20 minutes to spell Wells and use Wells as cover for second row/prop for the rest of the game

I'd be inclined to start with him and bring Atkins on when the forwards tire. Atkins seems to be quite effective at exploiting tired defenders judging on the past.

But wondered if he just didn’t want to give too much away? I would have Atkin there before Burke personally. |

Don't think it will be pretty but we'll get the job done. Just hope OurLeague allows me to watch the match retrospectively as I'll be getting my 2nd COVID jab while the game is being played!😩 |

I’m not looking forward to this game at all, got a bad feeling about it. My start of season optimism has been well and truly chipped away, fingers crossed I’m wrong as I usually am, but I don’t see us winning. Stating the obvious if we lose this we are in major major trouble.

Leigh have looked pretty good in patches, and they play a traditional 'hell for leyther' approach. When it works, it's hard for opposition to counter, but when it fails it tends to fail quite badly. Let's hope they have an off night...
