I read mixed feelings on Livett. I rate him Yeah I think he's had a bit of unfair stick tbh. He's shown glimpses of quality in the first 3 games which is more than I can say for some!😁 I'd also have Johnson in the 17 before Roberts. Was one of our best forwards before his injuries last season. Already showing the benefit of having a larger squad as well this season with all the injuries so far. Got my 2nd COVID jab booked in at 7pm on Friday so got to find a way of getting my laptop in there to watch the game.🤔 |

I read mixed feelings on Livett. I rate him He’s a class player,just not sure of his correct position,and slightly concerned about the right sided protection he gives in defence. Loose forward is probably the best fit,fingers crossed Think with a fully fit team I'd like Addy at loose with Taylor and livett at SR and pauli impact from bench. I think we have lost a lot of our attacking play by not having a ball player at loose. Think Flash retiring has a hell of an impact as he was a wonderful pivot which eased the burden on brown, which we are now seeing. From what I have watched so far, Addy appears the most suited (certainly not a hooker) and creative who should offer an additional playmaker and stop teams solely focusing on brown. |

Actually we do have a player who can operate as a Ball Playing #13 and that is Greg Burke - Anyone know how far off he is in coming back after injury? |

Taylor is good ball player. He's just had to do so much defensive work that we haven't really seen it yet. Maybe when we find our feet we'll see it a little more. |

Friday is a must win, it looks on paper like we have the better team however on field performances suggest otherwise. Leigh will be aggressive and look to out enthuse Salford in the first 20 mins. Play like we did against Catalan and we lose. Marshall needs to get the players focussed on the task in hand as a another poor performance is not acceptable. This is a huge game even so early in the season.
