Hmmm plenty of effort but more errors in the first 15 minutes than the whole of last week. We're hanging in but creating our own problems with silly penalties and handling errors. Did I miss why Escare not in the team?
Oh and who's sponsoring Patton? Captain Cod? He's got a bigger gut than me!

I heard that Marshall was preferring Sarge at full back and Kear in the centre than Escare at FB and Sarge at centre but didn’t know whether to believe it

He won't be first choice winger with Sio back and Inu having been so great last season. Having said that Inu's had a bit of a 'mare with a couple of knock-ons and he really should've done better for their first try. Need to score early in 2nd half or it could be a long 40 minutes. (not took long for the pessimism to kick in has it?😂) |

What we don’t know is how much of the selection was down to choice,or injury.
Ackers ?
Escaré?
Greenwood ?
We looked tough,full of effort and prone to the odd mistake !
Livett and Taylor looked excellent,Wells was impressive and Seb very hardworking

We look like a new side that hasn't found its feet yet. There's positives in there. Tui looks sharp, Addy worked his nuts off, and Taylor is a touch of class. We look a better side when he's on the pitch. I'm a bit disappointed in the score, as nearly all their tries were proper soft gifted tries. The team looks like it has plenty of heart and it'll take a few weeks for them to find their rhythm.
Inu had his worst game for us, and while Sarge gives everything every game I think he's better in the centres than at FB. A bit of a baffling choice for me as we have a natural, and very talented, fullback in Escare.
I thought we were very flat in attack (not helped by the fact that it took 65 minutes for us to get an offside penalty) and a little unorganised at times. Will probably iron itself out though. Be interesting to see what changes for next week.

Can’t understand sarge at fb, has a mistake or 2 every game, and he’s far far better than kear at centre. Early days but not impressed with the decisions made so far.
Try not to be too negative but that was very disappointing
