So Evalds will be replace by Escaré. Would probably have preferred Ashley Bott. What about other replacements for the following
Dudson Flash Joey ? Inu ? Welham. Already sorted. Not a bad replacement. Hope Kear stays as back up
Unknowns Sio Brown Pauli Seb. Needs to be locked in
Who else ?

This is what was keeping me awake last night Escare is decent enough, happy with him tbh Hopefully we can keep Inu, but Burgess coming in will be first choice I’d think Welham will be a miss, not seen enough of Costello but trust Watto Flash again another huge loss for me, Livett may be a decent player but we’ll miss Flash’s experience Dudson, i don’t see we have anyone in line that has been mentioned yet, he’s a big hole to fill Then there’s the maybes, biggest being Joey. Got to hope he stays, he was huge today. Top player. I like Ackers as a rotation 9, them 2 together will be great Hopefully Seb stays, he’s proved himself in my opinion. Pauli, not fussed about. Doesn’t run his size, makes too many mistakes. Could be a great asset if he put his mind to it Think Brown signed 2 years, he’s looked good enough to me to stay on. Sio, would like him to stay, but i think I prefer Inu. Think Sio still in contract though? All said and done, if we can replace Dudson, keep Joey, Seb and Inu, I think we can build on this year.

Think Seb probably ok They said they're chasing Inu contract, would you want Leigh or here? Think McCarthy will be off
Livett Addy Escare Costello Burgess I'm sure they're lining a prop up
And Roberts Jones to be added.
Joey que sera, he probably thinks he's better than he is but if he wants to go
The good thing is lots of clubs won't have much money, no A teams, and because of Watto players will want to come. We seem to be looking at good English players which is good. Buyers market
Need experience in back row and the prop me thinks. But we're in a good place, Watto and Blease know what they're doing
It's money we need to step up a level

I think we’re looking pretty strong in the backs tbh, however Escaré has some massive shoes to fill. Evalds is arguably one of the best players we’ve ever had, gutted to see him leave. It’s a shame we can’t get Escaré in now and start to bed him in while there’s no threat of relegation or anything this season.
If we can get Inu for another year I’d take that in a heartbeat. He’s been immense and is still the best goal kicker we have.
Welham has been brilliant but I think having Sarge and Watkins is arguably a better pair of centres.
Flash is extremely hard to replace imo, a leader on and off the pitch, we’ve always played better with him on the field.
I think if we can pick up one or two experienced props and find a similar type of “flash” player (if there is one out there) then we will definitely be up there again.
The only worry I would have is that if either of Brown or Tui were to get injured we don’t really have adequate cover (I don’t think Atkin is up to it imo) but I’m guessing we won’t really have the money to be able to bring in another half. Hopefully Watto and Blease can find a gem in the lower leagues or an out of favour Aussie (again)

My biggest concern is the absence of a grizzly prop, the rest will take care of itself.

Has anyone got the truth on Ashall-Bott? Evalds was great yesterday and will be sorely missed. Is A-Bott available or tied up elsewhere? Make no mistake he is a good un and a much better proposition than Escare who is poor defensively.

I personally think we have a ready made replacement for Flash in Yates, he can easily play the full 80 and join Mossop as on field leader.
I've been a fan of PP but increasingly see him as being a luxury rather than an asset. Seb we need to get signed permanently (I think that will happen mind).
Think we have a quality group of young 2nd row options so there is no need to sign more, where we will struggle is in replacing Dudson, he is immense and arguably our best (and most consistent) forward, his shoes are going to be nearly impossible to fill.
If we have signed Burgess then I'm properly happy with our backs, if not then we have no real pace (Williams only just outstripped Lui yesterday and we all know he plays on 1 leg), for me I'd like to try and get OAB signed as he is a quality (and pacey) young back.
I personally think Atkin is a brilliant squad player, he's scored a couple of brilliant length of the field tries that neither TL or KB would have done. The tricky thing will be keeping him happy only getting a starting spot when injuries or rotation dictates.
Akkers in for Lussick is a tricky 1 s do think Joey is just about the best hooker in the league, only time will tell how much we'll miss him.

Agree re Yates MR - hes defo improving too with his hands. Pauli Pauli - Could be a world beater with his dimensions but is he an answer for a prop position? Not a Grizzly prop as smiles too much Really hope Inu stays - one of the best kickers I have ever seen & according to Watto - great for the team on the pitch. Also in the A-Bott camp as he has signed for Ottawa and surely his Agent has inserted a SL clause.

Not too worried about Escarè is one of the best fb in the league when he's on game and is quite a decent goal kicker.

The ones we know are certain are all really good. The backline should be top notch, the spine has real potential and the basis of a good pack is ready and waiting.

I often wonder if Inu might not be a good makeshift #13, has the physically strength and ball handling skills.

Cas hammered by Hull today and their fans in uproar - some wanting relegation THIS year and many not fans of Powell who no doubt will blame the referee today!
Has Evalds made a bad decision? One year contract too. Maybe in time we should step in and offer him some security.

I maintain that somewhere down the line what's behind Evalds leaving will come out, I don't know but get the feeling there is much more to him leaving that meets the eye.
