Am I right in thinking the national anthem is played pre game at the final? If so I do hope we don't follow the example of other countries and have players 'taking the knee' Think pretty much every sane person agrees black lives matter but enough is enough. I'm willing to bet that if we had full crowds and it happened there would be boos as people have had enough of sports virtue signalling. I assume if It's confirmed that all the Underlying problems that Brought the Kneeling and BLM To world wide publicity In the US have ended ,No more Police behaving like Gun fight at the OK Coral when they pull black people over Then they'll be no more need for it. Just as a matter of interest How many times if any when you lived in the USA Were you racially profiled and stopped by a police patrol?, I experienced it once when I was in Stationed in Alberta in Canada in the 1990s when in the Army, We were only in the US for a hour when we were pulled over just over the Border in Montana ,The sole reason is one of The Fellow soldiers Was from Fiji So dark Dark Skinned And it wasn't a Pleasant experience, I don't believe it's changed at all over there , So the taking the Knee will probably go on for quite a While yet.

KB think you are now making it 'political' MR was interested in the traditions of Wembley not these issues.

Back on topic, assuming we can’t go to the game which I would feel is pretty much nailed on, I wonder if the club could host sometime at the ground in the lounge, not sure if it would be allowed under current restrictions or not but would be nice to experience the game with fellow reds.

Re: BLM and the national anthem. If players want to kneel to show their support during the anthem then no complaints from me. Let's face it, sweet FA has changed since the BLM protests started and injustice continues across the globe based on the colour of your skin. Until people are willing to re-educate themselves and real change takes place then players should have the right to take a knee/make a statement, whatever they feel is right. I'm not a royalist by any stretch and I've been ashamed at some of the goings on in this country over the past few years and the attitude of a large proportion of English folk.
If that upsets a few "for Queen and country" folks then so be it.

Would be great if they could but just can't see it happening in the current climate. The logistics would be almost impossible and not sure everyone would be able to adhere to social distancing if, god forbid, we actually won!😁

If they take a knee at Wembley so be it.Its been said about how Rugby League was all inclusive, their as been some outstanding people of colour associated with this wonderfull game. But don't lets kid ourselves that them same people had an easy ride because they did not.Our own Colin Dixon for one I was at Leeds one afternoon when the abuse he got was worse than disgusting yes Rugby League as always been open to people of colour, but don't kid yourself they got an easy ride. I am 73 have things changed not much.

I see everyone's carefully avoiding saying: "If Salford win't Cup there'll be a war!"
Could be because, if we won, we wouldn't care?

"There will be no traditional trophy presentation at the end of the Coral Challenge Cup final at Wembley due to the heightened restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic." Love RL
At least this is one occasion when we can forgive the royals not turning up .......as usual!
I suppose we could discuss the lack of presentation but win we wouldn't care and lose we wouldn't give a toss! Hey, it's magic being in the Cup Final isn't it!

"If Salford win't Cup there'll be a war!" The tendency is if we win the league, war follows: the Falklands was late (presumably as we relied on America).

Euphoric - Salford in the final. Gutted - We can’t be there. Cynical? - Given that there is almost no chance of any kind of crowd, was there something underhand about mention of hope that sponsors and season ticket holders could attend, on the day before the cut off point (today) for claiming a refund for lost games on season tickets...... I really hope not. I highly doubt it considering Challenge Cup games are never included, also as the club already have the details of ST holders so regardless if they have foregone money or not they still have the ST

If we're still breathing we'll have lived long enough to see SRD at the GF & the CCF. Do you realise that those three fings mean we won the Lotto? Sit back, post the euphoria and bask!

Harsh on Hastings. He was behind a beaten pack but, yes,he was anonymous. 🥴 It is harsh but not far off the mark. I also agree with you but from someone who not only controlled the game and teammates, was a role model and turning up everywhere he is now playing second fiddle to two or three players depending who's on the pitch.
For the life of me I can't see why you would fight so hard to sign him and then use him wrongly.
