I assume the Club will see sense and as we have no owner or benefactor let the two guys who've made this happen lead the team out:
WATTO & BLEASE, great double act
( after all the effort John Wilky and the money Marwan put in to keep us going, I hope somewhere along the line they can be part of this as I heard they weren't guests of the Club at the Grand Final. Which I find amazing)

Couldn't agree more Wilky and the Doc must be invited.
Might tempt them to lob a little towards the club to help stop us getting asset stripped again in the off season.

I really don't care if all they lobbed was a chewed polo mint. They got us here. They deserve the place.

Wilkeys grandson has implored the club on Twitter, for his grandad to be invited. I Hope Paul King responds The club would loose no little credibility if both Wilkinson and Koukash are not invited to the final. What could possibly be better karma than to have the 2 men who ensured we still have a team throughout the modern era.

They've both done more for this Club than anyone since Brian Snape. John Wilky gave heart soul and health. Why they both weren't guests of honour at The Grand Final beats me. It's supposed to be a Community Club.To me it's about decency and honour.
We have no owners, no benefactors and we only have Sky money, low crowds and a bit of sponsorship. In reality the Club mainly survives by the hard work on the field by the amazing duo Watto and Bleasey, who continue to work miracles, so positively without funds. It amazes me how each year some of the top players go and they produce another great team. So them to lead out and in the presence of the great John Wilky and Marwan. Respect.

Am I right in thinking the national anthem is played pre game at the final?
If so I do hope we don't follow the example of other countries and have players 'taking the knee'
Think pretty much every sane person agrees black lives matter but enough is enough.
I'm willing to bet that if we had full crowds and it happened there would be boos as people have had enough of sports virtue signalling.

Couldn’t agree more MR, but I have been slagged off on other forums for having this view, and have been falsely accused of being racist and sexist amongst other things, so I will confirm my support and make a quick exit.

I think if you watch THE RUGBY CODEBREAKERS on the iPlayer, you'll see how RL embraced black and coloured players whereas RU especially in Wales didn't. And we should celebrate this but we seem to always highlight anything which is negative.
Clive Sullivan the first black player to captain an English/ British team Think Roy Francis the first black coach And there's more but watch the programme. And Dai Watkins is in it. Really good
I agree, to me there are lots of disadvantaged black white women men disabled abled English Scottish etc and I would sooner support All Lives Matter. All we can ever try and achieve, in my view, is equality of opportunity. Natural selection ensures we can't all play the piano to concert standard, not all be prop forwards, not all run a 100m in under 10s, not all be whatever. And what is fairness, equality? And as for positive discrimination, sorry to me that is inequality and you can't have both.
But just a view.

I've watched that once and never spotted it on YouTube (have an aversion to anything BBC related) and it is brilliant.
RL is a fully inclusive sport and think we all pretty much know it, find a different cause (Rob Burrow and the Motor Nuron fund drive would be my suggestion, let's make a gesture towards that).

Wtf has this got to do with salford going to Wembley? One of the greatest events in the clubs history and someone turns into a rant against Black Lives Matter based on an imaginary thing that had t happened. I know the right wing are looking for every opportunity to be angry and offended at the moment but literally making up things that have a tiny chance of happening in the future in order to get angry and offended is scraping a new low. And what a surprise it’s the ‘don’t mention politics on this forum’ champion that started it. Our very own Frank Doberman
As for Wilko and MK being invited to Wembley. I believe the club have a total of 20 tickets which has to cover everyone not playing. Even if they want to they may be unable to get them in

RUB calm down mate. I think if you read it,it's not politics it's a feeling he has about Wembley and its tradition. Not a rant. He's allowed his view. That's what's good about this forum; airing different views and being mature about responses.
I totally agree with you however, no politics, and let's look to the game in a couple of weeks😉

Well there you go 1 person goes on a rant.
I asked a reasoned question as I genuinely think it has reached its pinnacle.
More proof for me that you're no longer allowed to broach a subject in public forum without it being hijacked because other peoples views are not allowed.
Well done RUTB.

MR. You’re the one who lost his rag because someone made a light joke about the PM. But that’s different I guess. That’s the proof you need that some topics are not allowed to be mentioned. What you mean of course is that only things you agree with should be mentioned.
I’m more than happy to have a discussion about BLM and how we build on RLs traditional approach to diversity. But don’t think it’s relevant to salford reaching Wembley - that’s a great moment somewhat tarnished by the fact we can’t be the there.
It deserves not to be derailed by a debate about BLM. And it seems ironic that the person who ranted about politics being mentioned brought it up

I asked a question, I asked because the tradition of the final should not be disrupted over a cause that has been championed already.
The cause of black lives matter and pride in your nation should not be linked.
That's why I asked a simple question in a polite and reasoned manner.
