I'll stick to my promise about refs and say nowt.
But what a great side we've got and what a pity we can't keep the bulk of it together.

Next year we need a scrum half and a couple of forwards and Salford will be a team to be reckoned with.

I'm sat on a bus in Fuerteventura heading to the airport and I've just started crying and I have no idea why!! Not sure if it's devastation, pride or the fact that we were literally a couple of minutes from something very very special and what's just happened has maybe just sunk in.
Against Saints in the GF we never really had a sniff, yet today, despite being dominated territorially we always looked like we were in the game. We barely made it into the Leeds 20 all match, yet when we did we always looked a threat and both their 1st half tries frustratingly came off the back of penalties.
I guess very few of us Salford fans know what it's like to be so close to glory so rather than bemoan a close defeat we need to puff our chests out, thank Watto and every one of the squad, the backroom staff, Bleasey, Paul King etc and revel in what's been the most incredible last 18 months.
To those moving on.... thanks for the memories and you'll always get a great reception when you come back to the AJ Bell.👏 To those coming in next season... wear the shirt with pride and you'll be loved like no other set of fans will love you!!!

Great performance indeed.
Ref was good but for 1 very soft call which cost us the match. 3 Leeds players on his back and all PP wanted was a quick ptb.
