I guess I just take it as how the underdog gets talked about. We would need a few years of being consistently challenging for honours before we lose that tag.
I try not to worry about it. But I am a bit perverse (like most salford fans). The first match I watched in the flesh was salford v Wigan in the 1987 challenge cup semi final at burnden Park. Wigan won 34-4 and I came out a much bigger salford fan than when I arrived š¤·āāļø. I always root for the underdog

Just watched the highlights on the bbc highlights show. James Clare and Jamie Peacock did the summary well. First they complimented Salford,highlighting Tui and gushed about us,then a pause, and they assessed Hull. Well balanced and well presented Then I'll watch that next thanks. |

Apparently Tui clocked the second fastest speed over the weekend behind Grace - I didnāt think he was that fast?! Sio clocked the 5th fastest.

Depends over what distance. This is one of the daftest stats. Tui was sensational,mixing skill and power and pure class. Hes as fast as he needs to be but the differential showing up between him and Regan Grace is simply unbelievable. Speed of thought,yes,but not across the turf. |

So if I run two yards to the line I'm quicker the Grace who runs a 100 yards or meters.

Over two metres you may (may) be quicker than RG but avoid taking him on if it gets to three.
Actuall very easy to see in any 100 metre race where one or two runners set off ahead of the others and can quite easily end up last.
But don't mention he's Welsh or MR will get all starry eyed and start singing sosban fach and as we all know they should only sign for SRD and what's the point of a welshman in yawn?

Players need space to get up to their top speed. I āthinkā both the Tui and Shaul top speeds were registered when Shaul scored - Tui chased back and ankle tapped him and both looked to be going at a reasonable pace. For context all those speeds are well below last seasonās top speeds which is understandable as itās first game back.
