I'd go for Escare as a replacement.
I'm sorry but the RFL should have changed the anti tamper dates with all this going on, typical of RF though o go about things half ar$ed.

That is a decent shout. He isn’t a world beater but would add some pace and would be cheap. Alternatively we could move Sarge to fullback as he did well for Wigan there but we’d have to change our tactics and buy a very good scrum half.

We need young lads coming thro. Think Evalds now is the last of the academy guys.
So an Academy. Bradford and one or two other lower clubs have good ones. Wonder if it's part of the Club's strategy, if they have one?

I'll be honest if we have matched the Cas offer (if) and he's still gone he loses my respect, Salford have made Evalds and given him the chance to shine and he could have been part of the backbone of a legacy.

Something suss in this for me, I'm all for ambition but Evalds is good enough to play for 1 of the really big boys (I'm also surprised a RU team has never looked at him as kicking aside his game would fit it perfectly) and Cas for me are going to knock on the door from time to time but not going to break the current monopoly.
As for his replacement a couple of others came to mind other than Escare, Jake Mamo has always impressed me and I think Olly Ashall-Bott is SL standard every day of the week.

To say that I’m fed up is an understatement. Earlier in the season the head of the board alluded to us possibly having a marquee player next year. I have heard that at the moment we are awash with money due to corona circumstances ie government money paying wages and low overheads.
If any of this is true why have we let one of our own move sideways to Castleford. I always support players moving to increase their wages as theirs is a short career but please Salford RLFC don’t lose out to other middle clubs..Evalds has been selected for GB squad, been the second highest try scorer and played in a Grand Final how is signing for Castleford going to improve his future.
We must secure our own players before we go gambling on unknown Marqee players.
