Speaking to people on Sunday who have booked flights hotels etc and some with tkts 😳 Utd don’t do official trips now so all booked independently. What’s the chances of them getting their money back ? This whole thing is getting beyond a joke now.

I’ve not even got travel insurance at the moment so getting a bit twitchy about Toronto but the peak should have passed by July.

I also see the Owner of Nottingham forest has contracted the Virus, I'm Certain I read that a UK Government scientist has told the Premier League and Football League to Make sure that everything has been Sorted IE: Promotion Relegation by the end of April, I do hope that the Magic Weekend goes ahead.

That will be right in the expected peak. My mates wedding in Spain is also at that time and his stress levels are through the roof. They may have given up with control measures by then though. 🤞

In my opinion peoples well being comes before any sporting event. I agree and I’m not being glib but if it gets to the point in May when over half the country has been or is infected then stopping people gathering seems a bit pointless. I’m no expert but I’d prefer to use common sense and just get on with things.

The issues are wanting to not stop commerce and trying to put the peak back from the winter for the NHS so it can cope. Sport comes way down the list as it should. Having just come back from Italy, seen the chaos and don't care attitude it's frightening. They've now closed all the ski resorts but on Sunday people still going thro Milan and other supposedly in danger airports.
I just hope we've got it right because there are lots of v vulnerable elderly people who'll not get through it. Sport will.

So if the hospitals up and Down the UK Are full of Seriously ill people with a contagious Virus then it doesn't matter that 20-35 thousands of people will be in close proximity to each other and the spread of the virus will accelerate, Then after The Magic Weekend people will go back to various parts of the UK And spread the virus. Doesn't seem the best idea.

Like I said I’m no expert but I’d have thought if they’d failed to stop the spread across the country and infection rates were high (worst case scenario is 80%) then would they shut down everything or let folks decide for themselves to carry on and the most vulnerable to stay at home? Makes more sense to cancel things now to stop the spread.

There doesn't seem to be any Policy on what should be played behind closed Doors and what shouldn't be, Over here in Germany there's currently a Champions League game RB Leipzig v Spurs with a crowd but the Game Between Bayern Munich v Chelsea is behind closed doors.
At least the Locals won't be subject to those moronic Chelsea fans.

However as bad as we may be you've got to feel for Hull fans. All that money and what a shambles they look like.

I thought the two defending players at the ptb had to be in line. Warrington never in line.
Yes the match is awful and the dirge of our immortal rambling famous ex playing commentator, stating the obvious, never stopping talking but saying nothing of value. Awful all round. So to the golf.
And yes Hull dire, how the coach keeps his job is beyond me.
