So what's the verdict KB?
Seems the reality is we've become just a breeding ground for other clubs; no money and we have to build a new team each year. Takes time. Watson and zBlease do well but we seem to be fighting a losing battle each year. No money, no consistency, fighting to survive again.

I wasn’t there but it looks like the same warning signs. We’ve just been stripped of too much quality. This isn’t sustainable for much longer unfortunately.

Got some good players in but it's a team game and it takes time to make a team.
Blease and Watson do a great job each year but you can't Magic players working together creating moves, defending in formation.
It's not about quality it's about sticking together over a period of time to form the team.
No money, survival each year. And anybody any good will be picked off.

Sadly you can guarantee Joey will be gone come seasons end and I fear Evalds too. Would be surprised either if Tui was snapped up by Wigan as his partnership with the #7 from last season was arguably the best in the league. |

Last season I thought that Joey would join Saints as Robys natural replacement, his form this year is scuppering any thought of that. Can see Tui going back to NRL for 2021 and us being left with Atkin. Gotta think we would be one of the clubs monitoring Patton though.

Just seen the highlights- sorry but I’ve had enough of Welham. His defence isn’t anywhere near good enough and he doesn’t do enough elsewhere to make up for it.

Best half performance Second half , But close but no Cigar.
Too many penalties given away again , Highlight was Sam Tomkins dropping the ball for Sio to score.

You might be right but,having watched the highlights,I could only see him being outjumped for a bomb. Not sure where else he was at fault |

Keep calm guys Watto got to create yet another team. It takes time.
It's the job of the nameless directors of the Holding Co to find the him and Blease the funds to keep a settled squad. We seem to have to sell a player each year in order to survive and this isn't the way forward for the Club. Then at the end of each year we're cherry picked.
All the players are working hard but it takes time to create a team. Remember only half the squad yesterday played at Catalan last year.

I'm afraid this will be the case for the foreseeable. It's heartbreaking after seeing the potential and optimism that last season brought. I often wonder how far last seasons squad would have gone this time around, but we'll never know. End of the day, we'll keep going. Give Watto time and with the current group I believe we'll be OK. Or at least finish above Toronto... |
