No injuries according to Watson and do we want to change a winning team? Only player you could see is Lannon for Greenwood who looks still way off the pace and was at fault for one if not two of their tries. Thoughts?

I’d definitely have Lannon in. I agree that I can’t see him making any other changes unless Ikahihifo’s loan agreement means he can’t play?

We’ll miss Ikahihifo. He’s been our most effective forward so far I think. Surprised he’s barred. I thought season long loans usually allowed them to play? I guess that means Josh Johnson coming back in. I thought he went well against Saints. I’d also swap Greenwood for Lannon but leave it the same otherwise

No he's not. There are no restrictions on season long loans, these only apply to month long loans.

If we defend like we did on Saturday I think they'll win comfortably although it'll be interesting to see how no game at the weekend will affect them

Wow funny how we see things differently. I thought it was our worst defensive effort for months. Right edge v poor. Evalds doesn't seem to follow the ball across and that hole in the middle of our defence for the try under the posts.
But we all have differing views.

[br I think when Buddha says "them" he means Huddersfield. If so I agree with him - and you.

And I misread!! But the interesting thing to me is how we attack. Our Watto 'processes' seem to be 4/5 big lone carries ( nobody seems to try to offload and little backing up) and then a move, usually to the wing or a high kick, on the last tackle or so. Sort of Oz rugby/ Bennett style. Most teams inc Warrington played this way last season.
Hull kr, Warrington and Toronto this year, however, seem to move the ball about earlier and I must admit make a lot of ground more quickly and good to watch.
Like us all I'm a massive Watto fan but we seem to be getting a bit predictable, robotic and a bit, for me, 'boring', percentage rugby. Or is this just the start of the season where he's trying to get some rigour and a base in the play? Be interesting to see how things develop.

Whilst it wasn't a great performance vs Toronto, our last 2 games against them were 29-22 and 28-16. Both these were with Toronto still as a championship club.
As for Hudds, it could well depend on whether their new signing Sezer is more of a Hastings or another Frawley.
If they adopt a direct approach through the middle they might well turn us over as we don't seem to have been on it so far around the ruck area.

That's Evalds chink, he does not follow the ball behind his defence especially in goal. When the opposition score a try he is nowhere near

When the opposition score a try he is nowhere near I don’t disagree but Williams should have mopped that up very easily- everyone in the ground saw the kick coming and he showed that he was far faster than any Toronto players on their right side. Hopefully the week off takes the wind out of Huddersfield’s sails as they looked to be getting off to a good start.
