Still don’t know what to make of Thursday. I think it was good to see Greg back, I remember a kick in the first half that he let bounce and a knock on but I’d start him over Olpherts. Lolohea had good spells but to be honest I was expecting more hopefully it’ll come before the season ends but then Jacko will be moving on. Next years half back pairings will be interesting if the rumoured signings are true, at least they’ll have a fuller season.
Not much else to say really other than we looked on top for half an hour and then gave up. We struggled to create a chance and looked tired. Maybe the squad size is taking it’s toll. The last 2 fixtures will be interesting-Leeds and Hull KR. I wonder if we could send one of them down.

I hope Sio is really ready this time.
From the 19 I’d leave out Olpherts and Burke I think. Tough call for Burke but I think the other forward options just edge it
Evalds Bibby/Inu Welham Inu/Bibby Sio Lolohea Hastings Mossop Tomkins Dudson Jones Lannon Flanagan
Walker Johnson Lussick Mccarthy

Looks good to me but I’d leave Inu on the wing for now - took the high balls with aplomb and looked solid apart from dealing with one kick in behind. Bibby also looks more solid at centre.

If we can just manage to creep into the top 5 I really don't think any of the other 4 teams would be wanting to play us. 3rd best attack in the league...top try scorer and possibly `man of steel` winner. Just hope we can win...get a crowd nearer the 3.5k and a top 5 spot...we have a team worthy and good enough to get to Old Trafford v Saints so come on lets get down there Sunday and give em our support. Up the Reds

Just about the strongest squad we've been able to field all season, Playing well with some really attractive, attacking Rugby, coming off a run of consecutive victories, against a side who we tend to do pretty well against, and who are currently struggling...... I think its safe to say as a long suffering Salford fan, its times like these when traditionally something terrible happens In all seriousness really looking forward to Sunday. I just hope the crowd isn't to severely hit by the start of the Football season.

I've been a Salford fan long enough to become worried when reading so many positive and encouraging posts. Fortune usually sharts on our crisp clean sheets under these circumstances.
I await with an empty washing machine and a pack of wipes...

Can't make Sunday so I'll be on tenter hooks.
Wonder if they'll be playing with 14 men again with Robinson pulling the strings on H2O duty.
Think the plan must be to monster then down the middle early and let the backs take care of business.
Winnable but a banana skin.

Last time we had a depleted pack and didn’t turn up. This time we have a full strength pack hopefully. If everyone turns up we win this. As people have said though it would be typical Salford to lose this, everyone gives up on the playoffs and then we’ll unexpectedly beat Hull away.
Are we wearing black on Sunday? Hope so because that home shirt and home fixtures seem to play with the team’s mind.

Each time I have the Giants on TV since they beat us,Robinson has hardly been seen on the field, he appeared to be giving the half time talk last week and the result suggested it didn’t work.
